Hello, wonderful readers. It’s Mod Blue and Mod Julia.
It’s come to our attention that a Mod who has not been active since the both of us came on board in 2017 has been boasting on Twitter about deleting posts featuring content they consider unwanted.
We were completely unaware than this was going on, and we are horrified beyond words. You’ll recall we made a stance against censorship part of our mission statement, and we stand by that unequivocally. What this person has been doing is inexcusable. Because of this we are taking drastic measures to make sure that this cannot happen again.
Because of the way Tumblr is set up, we cannot remove a Mod from the Library. They can only remove themselves. This means that, to make sure they no longer have access to content going forward, we have to move the Library.
Going forward, our new address will be https://stuckylibrary.tumblr.com/. Mod Blue and Mod Julia, as the only remaining active mods, will be moving with the Library. Everyone else is staying behind. We can’t do anything to absolutely keep the content of the old Library blog safe, but at least we’ll be able to safeguard the new one.
We’ll be reblogging content for the next few days and weeks, so sorry if we flood your dashes for a while. Maybe you’ll rediscover some old favourites or fall in love with something new.
