What is one thing you want to teach your children?

Be who you want to be. I will not stop you as long as it’s something that does not affect your health. You wanna dye your hair green? Do that. You want a tattoo? Your body, you decide. You’re gay? Fine, tell me, you’re still my son/daughter and I know it’s not something you choose and you should be happy with who you are and I support you. You’re not “wrong”, you’re human and you fall in love, it does not matter with who. You wanna art? Do art. Your art is creepy? That’s fine, it shows that not everything is good in this world. You wanna say stuff to me? Do that. You don’t, you want me to respect your privacy? Fine that’s okay. Call me when you need me. You’re free to express yourself when you’re around me, and you should feel confident in your body and in your soul and with everything you believe in, and don’t stop, kiddo. They don’t know you, and you don’t know them, so let ‘em say whatever they want, let ‘em do whatever they want, you go on, whatever it takes, I’m gonna be beside you.
