You love your job. And you love your boyfriend.

But when you got a project that involves painting your boyfriend’s body for the upcoming comeback, you couldn’t help but stress over it every second of the day.

Everything needed to be perfect. That’s why your usual clean desk is filled with sketches of different scenes that you thought of since you got the project. It also didn’t help that Taehyung is perfect, so you gotta work around that fact, to manage to put his features in evidence, and also come up with a pretty enough drawing for him. With soft edges and light lines, that wrap around his upper body and up towards his neck, ending under his jaw. Or at least that’s what you came up with so far. You knew that he wasn’t comfortable being topless, so you also tried to keep it minimal. Bighit left it all up to you, they only gave you a general topic, which was the combination of masks and angels.

A/N: Not really happy with this, it’s too fast-paced and Tae’s behaviour flips around really fast. It’s unnatural, but it’s what I got. I’ll be posting the second chapter of Hacked soon.

You put on a shoe while managing to make a flimsy, overstuffed sandwich, stuffing it into your mouth and dashing out of your studio apartment. You searched your pockets for the brightly coloured keys to lock your door, checking to make sure it was locked tightly before sprinting down the corridor. You come to a stop near the elevators, leaning in to press the button with the arrow pointing downwards before noticing the tacky orange sign on the metal doors.

OUT OF ORDER

Grumbling, you instead run to the stairs, internally regretting your choice to buy an apartment on the 6th floor. Thankfully, you’ve already mastered the skill of racing down the white and grey staircase after all the times you overslept and make it down safely, jumping over the last few steps. Once on the ground, you jog past the automated doors, and down the street, to the café, you always visit in the morning. Pulling out your phone from your deep pockets, you quickly dial a number you know by heart, having called it countless times.

“Cappuccino or just an Americano?” you ask, breathless from running so much

“I’m feeling a hot chocolate today,” replied your best friend of nearly 9 years, “with extra whipped cream”

You wrinkled your nose at that, never really liking the taste of the foamy white cream, “Ok, Seok. Anything else?”

You quickly noted down his reply mentally, thanking him and ending the call. Seeing the familiar worn sign, you dash inside, skidding to a halt near the counter.

“Someone’s in a rush,” the barista mused, “late again?”
