Since my dissertation presentation went beyond my expectations, I’ve been feeling like I can do literally anything I put hard work and effort into. It’s such a wonderful feeling since I’ve been struggling for a while now with uni and rough patches. ♡

Day 36 of 60 Days of Productivity
going to finish my german revision today. i just need to write like a ‘stock’ essay with paragraphs on anything i could possibly write and then write notes on that! the system worked really well for my film essay, so hopefully it will be good for the book…
This week’s spread was inspired by the novel I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson. I’m not much for most novels in this genre, but this one totally changed the writing game for me. One of the best YA books I’ve read, and totally spoke to my art side!

Day 34 of 60 Days of Productivity
so i’m not sure how well the assessment i did yesterday went cause i ran out of time and had to really rush the end. the knowledge is there but i don’t know whether the last page of the essay is enough for the exam board. that sucks a bit cause i know that i can usually write a great history essay but you just have to move on and focus on the next thing. next week i only have two assessments and i have a long weekend so i think i’ll have plenty of time to prepare and revise

Returned to my dorm yesterday. I just couldn’t concentrate on my paper with my family and friends around. Hopefully I’ll finish it until the deadline.

We do zoom sessions almost every day now, sometimes even for the whole day. When we're not studying, we’re doing chores or one of us is reading and the other watching a movie. It really helps during lockdown.

just wanted to update whoever is interested: my average grade for the first semester was 85% (still in shock lol what the hell). in addition, a professor contacted me to ask whether i was interested in writing a phd after my graduation. i have been doubting my academic performance and whether i can handle uni for years, so this all means so so much!
03.03.2021 // i nearly finished my presentation for organic chemistry. in a few weeks i will be back at the lab and i can't wait to see my friends again.

It turns out that these glasses that have been sitting in my drawers for years are blue light filtering. I blame finally getting into kdramas and watching loads of episodes way too close to the screen but I can’t even be mad. The men in these shows are to die for 😭
