Long time no see!!! I Hope this whole thing goes better for you, friend.
Me too, I just felt it was needed for me to get out what I think is the main reason I haven’t been around Undertomb wise.
I hope folks understand- X”D

Hey guys. Back from the grave again, but this time I wanted to be more honest with why I’ve been gone from this blog, and also the main Undertomb blog in terms of answering / drawing things.
insanelyadd replied to your post “(I’m reminded why there were only like, 5 icons of Tippy I had made...”
If you wanna get technical classic Pap has lines for eyebrows most of the time while Sans doesn't so you could just give him some? Just a suggestion. :>
(Hmmm, true. In rough drafts he’s got em. But giving him eye brows would also make him look less...spooky? Its trying to find the balance between emotions and spooks.
Eh, I’ll figure it out. He’s already got 10+ in drafts, so at least I gave him more options than the five I had originally pfft XD)
(I’m reminded why there were only like, 5 icons of Tippy I had made before- XD
It’s hard drawing expressions for somebody that has no eyebrows)
(Hey guys guess what-
TEDDY ICON SET IS DONE-
Should I finish the Tippy icon set first before releasing these to the world > o >)
What's the thing you be working on? Hmmmmmm?!
(Its not done, but imma give you a sneak peek:)
(Things are quiet here cause I be working on a thing > u >
Hopefully by Christmas day oof-)
“IF you have questions, it’s best just to ask.” it had only taken him a moment to notice the observer in the trees. longer then in places he was familiar, but still unnaturally easy for this inky darkness. had the kid died though? had the strength of their soul failed them/ he’d not had time to familiarize himself with how magic and such worked here, but from how he understood the meeting…
that kid shouldn’t die. not anytime soon, at least. an afterthought now that he was waiting for the one in the trees to respond to him came; perhaps he should have brought the skeletons some of the flesh stored away. The Jacks didn’t need all that they had-anyways, they had a preference for the organs over the muscles. they’d likely have not even noticed. He could probably grab it as he brought fresh food…
still, if the kid had bit the bullet in the time that had passed… well, it was unlikely he’d come back to these woods.
“...YOU ARE STRANGE. YOU ARE NOT HUMAN YET YOU CARRY MANY HUMAN TRINKETS. WHY?”
The skeleton’s voice came out as a screech as he spoke, but he did not come down from the perch in the trees. Not till this anomaly showed himself to be no threat to him.
Thankfully the monster didn’t seem to be trying to hunt this new comer. Not only that, but he seemed oddly fixated on the packages the tall creature was holding in his hands.
Hey did something happen to your fallen–child blog I can't seem to find it?
(Oh! No, nothing happened to it, I just updated it some, like changing the name and blog theme.
I wanted to feel like one of the cool frisk blogs okay- ; u ;
You can find the new blog here! @fxllenmercy )
Things had finally stabilized more or less back where he came from. that was enough for him to take a moment to check in on a child in hard times. heh, he really shouldn’t be getting attached, but it was hard with the little ones.he had in his hands a box, with some instant noodles, (sealed) packs of jerky, granola bars, and a few bottles of clean water. he may have gotten a size to big for the kid, but there were also two new pairs of sweatpants and sweatshirts. by now their current outfit had most likely grown thin. and while the kid had by no means been violent, giving them a pocket knife seemed appropriate, including the fact it had other tools.a loaf of bread was laying on top, with a sleeping bag beside it. the sleeping bag was filled with socks.with the space remaining, he’d included a sketchbook and journal, as well as a pack of crayons, colored pencils, and a pencil sharpener. fresh food was better for them, and once there was a space where the aroma of cooking wouldn’t attract unwanted guests, he did happen to have something prepared being kept warm at the mansion.
however, first he’d have to find the child… or one of the skeletal guardians the kid had managed to find. as such, he was walking through the dimmer-then-his-own forest.
There’s no sign of the child anywhere in the forest, no light in the distance, no tracks, not even a scent in the air...It was clear they hadn’t been here in a long while. However, he’d likely have more luck with the skeleton monsters that still lived in the area.
Much like the one that could be seen in the branches of a tree, watching him closely as he approached.
“.....” The skeleton was silent at first, just staring with sharp, predatory eyes as he kept still, as if hoping to camouflage into the tree. But he knew this wasn’t something to hunt, it didn’t smell like a monster nor a human. Curious as he was, this was an unknown...
(I’m having things skip ahead storywise with this blog, to change things up a bit.
Previously they’d only gotten as far as through Snowdin, and I’m moving things ahead to them having gotten through Undyne, and are currently trying to get through Alphys labs.
Things that have happened with this in mind are:
- Undyne now leaves them alone for the most part, more out of respect than being friends with them. Flicker managed to evade her by setting up traps, luring her to monsters to distract her, even fending her off for a little while until she got overheated in Hotland. Flicker has gotten scars from this and is much more paranoid after having been actively hunted for a long period of time.
- Temmies caught them in Waterfall and nearly ate them, but Flicker managed to bargain with them by giving them what money and food they had on hand.
- Upon entering Alphys lab, they’ve befriended the mad scientist and also had a close encounter with Mettaton. As they’ve wandered through the labs though, Flicker has found numerous experiments involving human zombies and lost souls, which has disturbed them greatly.
- Flicker was kidnapped by lost souls trying to possess their body, from which Teddy and Tippy rescued them from before their soul became infested with the dead. This has damaged their soul and has depressed them quite a bit, this is the main reason why they’re back in Snowdin under the brother’s constant watch.
If anything else comes to mind that would affect the personality of these three, I’ll make a post about it.)
❝ * flicker? shit - hey, 's okay. calm down, 's okay. ❞ immediately is he concerned, drawing nearer, hands vacating his pockets and unsure where exactly to rest. it's been so long - he's been GONE, for so. long. ❝ * 'm here, yeah? 'm here. wha's wrong? ❞ ( smooches u! )
“You- wh-where-”
They couldn’t say anything more, as the child started to sob and tried to cover their face. It seems like they hadn’t seen a friendly face in a long time, even though they had no physical injuries, Flicker definitely seemed more sickly. Paler, skinnier…sadder than before.
The Underground was likely taking its toll on the child.
It had been an awfully long time since the tearful ghost had visited his old friend. He wasn't sure why, or how, but something had happened and now this house was one of the few remaining places he could remember. With Fred being nowhere to be seen, the boy could only knock nervously on the door and hope desperately for a reply. (Hypnophobiac- oo boy this is gonna be memory lane :O )
Its a while before there’s any sign of life in the abandoned looking house. There were no lights inside, with the windows boarded up and in dire need of repair…
Yet before long, the door remarkably opened, though it wasn’t who the ghostly boy was hoping for.
The looming beast stares down at him with cold eyes before a growling voice mumbles out, “…here tah see the kid?”
❝ * ... hey kiddo. how y'holdin' up? ❞
“…Sine?”
“Sine??”
From how quickly they broke into tears at the sight of the familiar skeleton, evidently things hadn’t been too well.
you can't give up yet! there's still hope. after all, you're still alive now, right?
“Even if I’m alive right now, there’s so much death here…”
Hey, human... what are your hopes for the monsters? do you have any dreams you wish to achieve?
“This place isn’t meant for humans. Neither is the surface right now, but…it’s a lot worse down here. Nobody survives.”
(well look at that i drew something-)
i wasn't even thinking drawn answers just text would work! i just think i like the skeles that got me into the darker side of undertale AUs would be awesome.
(Yeah, but I feel like what’s holding me back is partly my fear of not drawing them after so long, so my hope is that by drawing them, I could get more into their character again.
This blog just needs a complete reset storywise, if things are gonna work out here. v o v”)
