i haven’t been doing anything studyblr-related lately, just reading a lot. it’s hard to combat the feeling of not being productive enough. i’m looking forward to next semester to have a sense of purpose again lol

the semester’s almost over, just gotta get through finals and then i finally get to relax ☕️🍁

Sunday 8th May

Happy Sunday! I hope you were able to take some time to relax. In my corner of the world I’ve been busy working on my diss, due in next Friday. I’m actually feeling pretty ok about it, I’m on top of it and am just making corrections now. The weather has also been lovely here, and I did a few dance workshops and also practiced alone in the studio (and my flatmate came along for a bit which was such fun!) - feeling sore but very happy. We learnt the entrance of the swans in ballet which was lovely to dance. Also I saw and petted the fluffiest cat, making my heart very happy 🐱

the tumblr app is not letting me upload, so i finally caved and im posting from my pc lol

past mont ha been... interesting to say at least. i submited all my essays, finished the coil project and my semester is ending in a week and i still dont feel too good to actually do something more productive. i know im a studyblr and i shoul maintain this "im productive all the time" facade, but thats not what im aiming for

100 Days of Productivity

Thursday, may 5th 2022 • Day 1/100

Today I finally decided to start with habit of being productive. I hope at the end of these 100 days I can be more consistent in things I have to do (and I genuinely enjoy doing).

Today I studied for my Numerical Methods class. I love that class but my teacher asks us to do a lot of small operations that are really bothering and I end up making a lot of mistakes in those exercises.

I also studied for my Database class. I have an assignment that is due tomorrow that I don't know how to do lol. I am working really hard on that, so I hope I can do it.

I hope I do great with all of this, wish me luck!

Thesis diary #13

This was my fourth day of working on general historiographical material. I finished writing down a few notes on the article I read yesterday afternoon. I then started read another article, for whoch I'll write a few notes tomorrow. These few articles I have been reading are mostly historians writing about different monographies about the history of witch hunts. This is helping me to create a general idea of how the study of this subject has developed through the years. Many are in English, so if anyone is interested I might do a wrap up post in a while with all the links.

Other productive things I did:

when i first became a studyblr one of the first things i did was run out and buy, like, every mildliner ever. now i use basically only one pen on my notes and somehow i've never been happier with them.

anyways tumblr stop butchering my image quality challenge (impossible difficulty)

Do you prefer to take notes on paper or digitally?

I tried to summarise the text on the left digitally, but returned to paper after two pages 📝
