Okay look, I get everyone is angry here and we all want something done about this. But please, whatever you do, don't go and purposefully send death threats or misgender anyone over this. You're not owning anyone by repaying their treatment, you're giving them more ammo, more fuel for their transphobic hate spree. You're giving them a reason to see what they're doing as justified because they aren't going to see the irony in it the way you do.
What we need right now is attention on trans women. Attention on our joy, on our creations, on the fact that we exist and we are here and we will continue to be here. Nothing you can do will stop us from being ourselves.
If you're a trans woman, keep smiling. Keep refusing to back down or shut up because the last thing we need right now is to lose your voice. If you're not a trans woman, make sure those voices are heard. Don't attack anyone in our stead, because all you're doing then is giving them fuel with which to attack us back.
