can we, like, get donuts in the employee break room
I have been pushing for this for years, I tell ya! I heard back in the glory days, they offered a fantastic spread. I'm talking custard, boston cream, jelly-filled, some with a nice lemon glaze, cake for those so inclined, and of course, good old reliable glazed. Rumor has it that donuts were offered weekly, heck, I've even heard a few whispers of a daily haul! (sounds a bit farfetched though...)
While I can't confirm one way or another, I heard the donut delights were pulled due to Jeff's dad abusing the system and cleaning a majority of donuts for "the research team". Apparently complaints about Doc reached higher management and it was easier to pull the perk rather than offer more dough. Not surprising, but maybe if we get enough traction around the office, we can knead some results and pull something together!
