Since Emma met Past!Hook in the EF past, I always amuse myself with the idea that they have “first met” each other twice. For “timeless” I chose to do this mega parallel between Emma and Past!Hook and the Hook of the “here and now”.

Their interaction is indeed timeless because they actually have met before Emma was even born and also because Hook was born 200 years before her. This is actually pretty awesome if you think about it because they were able to trick time in order to meet and fall in love. If that’s not destiny I don’t know what is.

Jennifer Morrison invited again at Heroes Dutch Comic Con!

Wow what an great first guest announcement for 2019. Especially because I was so sad when she cancelled last time.  So yes I’m really beyond happy but I also fear she might cancel again. I know I’m being pessimistic but I guess you can’t blame me after the cancellations of Fairytales 5 and Dutch Comic Con. Anyway for now I say: Fantastic news! I got my ticket and an photo op, Thank you Heroes Dutch Comic Con I’m ready.

Sure, Snow, Regina, Neal, Ashley and others presented here had believed in Emma through the show, but they all had these moments in which they were doubting her, her good nature, and her abilities. But what is amazing is that even if you try to think really really hard, you can’t find even one situation all through the show that Hook has done the same even once. 

His belief in her is a constant fact that was never shaken even a little bit. I have to also add a comment about Henry and David here. Because as much as I didn’t think Henry was doubting Emma, I was happy that I didn’t find a situation like that for David as well (I wish I could have say the same for Snow…). No doubt that Emma’s men have a complete faith in her.

When I got this request I was excited, but I wasn’t sure I could actually get 10 parallels between these two since they are, you know, objects. But as it turns out, their parallel significance to their owners made it easier for me. At the end of the day, that Jolly Roger and that Yellow Bug have more in common than you can possibly imagine.

This is maybe the most important thing about this character, this is what makes him real, human. He is all of these things and more, sometimes more than one at the same time.

But as much as this variety of emotions says about Hook as a character, it says even more about Colin as an actor. His incredible ability to transfer 100% either one of these emotions makes him one of the finest actors on this show. I’m so happy that the writers use Colin’s great acting skills and are writing him a role that really live up to his potential.

Even though there were so many after, with this one I decided to go with situations from before their first kiss in Neverland, because that kiss was like a time bomb waiting to happen after all of those moments of sexual-tension.

Also I really think the look on Emma’s face right before the kiss symbolizes so much, because you could see how surprise she was by Hook being so direct about it, calling it by its name.
