Gajeel would just grin widely at Sting’s reaction to the Iron Slayer dangling upside down from the ceiling. It may have been because the older Slayer was having a bit of fun up there.
“What, this? I’m just… chillin’ I guess? Ain’t nothin’ goin’ on.”
It was likely that he was bored, and seeing people react to him literally hanging upside down from the ceiling amused him. Or, maybe he wanted to surprise the other Dragon Slayer? The only people who had really ever seen him do this were Natsu and a handful of Fairy Tail members back when he was still a member of Phantom Lord. So it really came as no surprise that Sting reacted in such a fashion.

Both of them could concentrate on their front, no need to look behind – Fairy Tail or Sabertooth, both got eachother covered and that was what the blond cherished.
A wide smirk got spread on his face and he spit into his hands, rubbing them together.

“Huh–” Sting blinked a few times, unsure what to think about this sudden gesture, but eyes met the other’s & seeing her genuine smile washed all those thoughts away & Sting returned the gesture & took the box.
“Khehe, thank you, Mirajane! Ya sure as hell are a good person.” He sighed, leaving those honest words. At least this kind woman wasn’t mocking him for being stupid, hm.
