Hi! I just bought my copy of TKT and I just wanted to tell you how proud I am! I’ve been a fan since it was originally published, and it has been my favorite for years since! With that being said I used to just read the version I had downloaded to my phone, so I didn’t notice whenever the shorts went up! I was wondering if there would be any way I could read those or get access to them, even if it was just through email if you didn’t want to republish! It would mean so much to me.

Hey there! So yeah, I just changed the names. I changed a few (very few) other things as well, but given that this was a story I'd sort of had in mind before I ever wrote it as fanfic (by which I mean, it didn't need to be fanfic, really, it was just a story and that was how I presented it), the changes were not so hard to make. I hope this answers your question!

...on ads on tumblr. Like book ads, not the ones that are just a picture of a guinea pig with the caption “she.”
As I’m building a marketing plan for TKT (Marielle, you don’t already have a marketing plan?! Sorta.) I’m thinking of social media ads that might offer some return on investment, aka ROI.
Obviously tumblr is not a shining juggernaut of advertising success. That’s why we like it here. But, well, I’ve been seeing more and more book ads on here (perhaps because I am spending more time on book websites...go figure) and I’m curious what you guys think about the potential for a Killing Type ad on the ol’ Tum. This is assuming such ads are affordable.
What do you think, guys? Would this be mockable? Would I be setting myself up for derision, or exposure? Would it bug you if you ran into an ad for a story you’ve supported for a long time?
Any and all thoughts welcome. Thank yew.
so so so so so so so close. physical edition is being proofed by both amazon and barnes & noble right now. (b&n is notorious for wait times at the moment but the amazon team has been quite responsive. presumably because they are not let out of their cages otherwise)

Just wanted to let you guys know that The Killing Type is now available on the Kindle Store, as well as Kobo--and, in a couple days, also as a Barnes & Noble Nook epub.
Obviously this stage isn’t as exciting as the print copies (which are coming very soon--my cover designer had to change some of the behind-the-scenes elements of the cover design...yadda yadda yadda). The good news is, I’ll be able to make the both digital and physical editions way more widely available than I had previously expected.
In the meantime: if you want to see what’s new and different in the updated novel, feel free to grab a Kindle edition (or just sling one at your friend and see how they like it).
Or perhaps, if you are feeling very charitable today, consider leaving a positive review; I hear they help. And, of course, let me know what you think!
You guys still receive the news first when stuff like this happens, but I do have an e-mail alert sign up on my website for when the print version goes live. When that happens, this blog will be used far, far less.

Hi! I just read TKT for the first time (absolutely loved it btw!) and I saw you’re getting it published. How exciting! Unfortunately though I don’t have a Tumblr, is there anywhere else I can follow you and stay updated?

I love TKT so much. I love Zayn in this story, he never fails to tug at my heartstrings no matter how many times I've read the story. The snippets made my heart jump, reading anything new in this verse is amazing. I can't wait for the actual book to come out!

Thank you so much for the Eight Short Bonus Scenes of tkt. Loved reading them. Weirdly enough I miss the characters (especially liam and zayn together - it's amazing how you portrayed their relationship!) and I'm looking forward to the physical version. Niall was also very interesting. I didn't expect the last scene at all.
Gonna buy it even if i've read tkt about four times now whoops.
