IT’S A SIGHT SHE HASN’T SEEN IN A LONG TIME. the pale curve of her cheek, the perk of her brow. this body’s new, sure, and its hearts beat in a new time, but the memories drifting behind the doctor’s eyes are all the same – and she feels nothing but fondness as it spreads a warmth across her skin.
“ rose tyler. ” breathless, almost, bittersweet as it lilts and leaves. so much to say here, and yet she lacks the words. the doctor wears a different mask now, one she’s not sure the other recognizes. still, a grin as bright as gold cracks her face in two, and she’s left with only a gentle shake of her head, disbelief crooning its loudest tune as it spins in the space between them.

COVETED WITH BATED BREATH ! the stars clasped each syllable and hid it in all the dark && empty spaces , nestled between the lights . all her scars imprinted there - platinum and gold , brave girl’s white knuckles crashing ‘gainst the cages of the universe , old wolf’s whispers echoing ( here , there , everywhere ) somehow , celestial palms spilled open . her secrets for a stranger . blonde like her .
❝ i might be . ❞ tendrils of gold sent askew by THE PULSE AND THROW of the assignment , time patched and pulled by stitches tied about her wrists , her shoulder blades . evasion curled in waves ready to spill o’er the tongue ... and yet ? a stranger whose eyes became like liquid gold ? ancient tone for such a face was she not young ? something old , something new .
