Okay so I did an art thing a few weeks ago (sorry, tsfhj always looks like shit I’m bad at drawing him) where I picked 1 Hyde expression from each of the 3 J&H comics I knew (The Glass Scientists, The Search For Henry Jekyll and Hooffellas), and drew each of the three Hydes with that expression. This one here is TGS, from page 33 of chapter 4 Give this project enough notes and I’ll do some Jekylls too!

So here’s part two of my art project, this expression I haven’t got a clue which page it’s from, after all there’s over what, 700 pages and how many chapters? and my friend picked it for me, but it’s The Search for Henry Jekyll’s expression. Poor TSFHJ Hyde is always the worst drawn. Reminder, lots of notes means I’ll do this with their Jekylls, too!

And last but not least, the Hooffellas expression found in Volume 1, Page 53 Hooffellas Hyde is surprisingly fun to draw

Solidarität mit Afrin! Aufruf zum Anarchistischen Block! 

24.März Frankfurt a.M.

Seit dem 20.Januar 2018 dauern die Angriffe des türkischen Militärs auf Afrin, in Kooperation mit dschihadistischen Gruppierungen, an. Afrin ist eines der drei selbstverwalteten Kantone der Demokratischen Föderation Nordsyriens. Erdogan sieht die YPG/YPJ, welche das Gebiet erfolgreich vom IS befreit und die freiheitlichste und fortschrittlichste Gesellschaftsordnung in der gesamten Region durchgesetzt hat, als Terrororganisation an. Dabei arbeitete die YPG/YPJ sowohl mit der USA, als auch mit Russland zusammen. Allerdings ließen sie die YPG/YPJ fallen, nachdem der IS besiegt war. Des Weiteren nutzt Erdogan die nationalistische Mobilisierung, um Kritik*innen des AKP-Regmies zu inhaftieren und zu unterdrücken. Auch die deutsche Bundesregierung unterstützt den Krieg der Türkei gegen Afrin. Sie tut dies, weil sie mit der Türkei einen schmutzigen „Flüchtlingsdeal“ abgeschlossen hat, sowie aus wirtschaftlichen und geopolitischen Interessen. Die Unterstützung erfolgt durch deutsche Waffen und Kriminalisierung von Protesten innerhalb Deutschlands. Dies geschah zum Beispiel durch Das Verbot der Fahnen von YPG/YPJ und Demonstrationsverbote. Es zeigt sich wieder einmal, dass Herrschaftsinteressen wichtiger als Menschenleben sind. Befreiung von Unterdrückung und Freiheit aller Menschen in all ihrer Verschiedenheit kann nur erreicht werden, wenn Herrschaft und Machtverhältnisse grundlegend in Frage gestellt werden. Deshalb rufen wir als Föderation der deutschsprachigen Anarchist*innen dazu auf am 24.März nach Frankfurt a.M. zu kommen und mit uns gemeinsam einen Anarchistischen Block zu bilden.
