here’s the thing, the vault tracks didn’t tell me anything that i didn’t personally already know (“they dated for four months it wasn’t that serious!!!” THEY WERE CLEARLY ON AND OFF FOR AT MINIMUM TWO YEARS BE SO FORREAL) but it brakes my heart that clearly this relationship/breakup affected her SO MUCH but she was so tired of the “girl who only writes about heartbreak and boys” label that she hid all of that real emotion and pain in the vault tracks. like we always said this was her least emotionally vulnerable album and now we know why
