The colour of him ✰ John Marino

Summary: when asked to describe how you see the colour gold, he was the first (and only thing) you could think of

If I had to describe the colour gold I'd tell them it's the feeling of John’s fingertips dancing across the bare skin peeking out between the waistband of my jeans and shirt. An oh so familiar feeling that I will never grow tired off.

Kisses so light on my hairline they could be described as the fluttering of a butterfly’s wings as we stay bundled up in the sheets of my bed on a Saturday morning. A naked warm chest pressed up against my back, acting as a personal heater.

Soft pink lips leaving searing kisses on mine as he says hello or goodnight before we fall asleep. A tingling in my bones every time his brown eyes meet mine and they're so full of love and adoration I think I might burst.

If someone asked me how I saw the colour gold I'd tell them that it's John Marino.

Not because of how his skin looks golden when the sunlight hits him just right, but because of the feeling he wakes when he gives you that smile. The type of smile that makes you believe you’re the only person that has even been graced with it. A smile that’s meant only for you.

John was the shade of golden hour you’d like to put in a glass jar and save forever so everyone could get the chance to experience it first hand.

How safe it feels to be wrapped up in his arms after a long day, knowing that he will always be there to lean on.
