Hello! This is a Star Wars: The Old Republic blog full of my art and original characters, as well as reblog that suit the fandom or the general feel of my space.

I DO NOT allow the use of my art or characters anywhere else. These characters are all important to me in one way or another and in some cases, have a lot of me put into them. If the art isn’t of my characters, then chances are it’s of somebody else’s and same rules still apply.

My art is tagged “lesatho art”

  • My ask box is open.
  • I’m also introverted and self-conscious, so not super prone to initiating big interactions. But I do like to chat!
  • Fan art is OK! Please don’t draw anything shippy/romantic.
  • My main is @funk-yeah so follows will come from there
  • 🔞 I am an adult, and this is an adult space. Be respectful of that please. 🔞

"Canon" wise, not AU, what's the worst thing Laz'ab ever did to Caspira? (Because i've seen some art and I have questions.)

Sorry for the long wait on this. I was gonna draw something but kept stalling out.

Canon-wise, Laz'ab is pretty responsible for a lot of general distress and pressure, being an unhinged Sith that she depended on for safety - but that also existed as a risk.

When she started to skirt along the edges of other Sith's territory and work for them on the side, that put Laz'ab into a little bit of a spiral since he is also possessive of his agent. He attacked her with a sharp blade in a fit of rage, giving her several new large scars on her face and many of them along her arms when she tried to defend herself.

As a gesture of understanding in their fucked up language of respect, she kept the scars and it calmed things back down into their usual status quo.

Laz'ab also turned Terallo inside out, but that was somewhere in the middle of being bad and being good.

WE GET AN ANSWER FOR WHY THE JEDI ONLY USE LIGHTSABERS INSTEAD OF KYBER BOMBS OR BLASTERS!! Because they’re not here to be more powerful.  They’re here to stand up against the dark. They deliberately chose a  weapon that takes control and intention to wield because that’s the Jedi’s whole purpose. You don’t just blast away at your opponent.  You choose your moves carefully, you follow the flow of the Force, you train for a lifetime for the moment that you fight against someone. That the Jedi are showing, again and again, they do not want to rule over others, they do not want to be the most powerful force in the galaxy. They could be that but they don’t. Because they want to be protectors, not conquerors. And I love love love this explanation.  It’s so Jedi but also it’s like “yeah we thought of that and didn’t want to be that kind of people, so we stay with the lightsaber because it means everything of who we are”.

Among everyone who Caspira has been "involved" with, who does she regret the most?

Avatar

(wowza this piece is old??) 100% Terallo.

As far as bad decisions go, he's definitely somewhere in the top and definitely caps as the most regrettable relationship in her life. Sometimes allies, sometimes enemies, most often existing in an uneasy state of limbo because they were only ever looking out for their own self interests. They were both complex plotters willing to use one another to reach a respective goal, which the other was most often kept in the dark about.

She cost him a hand, he cost her an eye, and they both cost one another endless aggravation.

As much as he was the worst person she had ever been involved with, she was also the worst for him. And yet, they were always both drawn back to that conflict between them.

OOCly, Terallo's player is one of my best friends to this day and I'm delighted to have met them and play with them and still enjoy playing Pathfinder with them on a regular basis :D
