What character do I want to play? Red carpet is not real life, so you’re always sort of playing a character when you’re on it.

It was a surprise to hear Nora suggest sex so quickly, and Matt laughed lightly nodding.
“Sex works too,” he replied, “I think it would be an option, we just have to be creative with positions.”
Matthew wasn’t bothered that Nora was so pregnant. He still loved her and found her attractive, not to mention that her boobs were a lot bigger than they’d used to be. He wasn’t complaining.
“I wouldn’t complain about sex,” he muttered, concentrating on Nora’s foot still before leaning forwards and pressing a kiss on the end of her toe. “We could do spicy food though if you prefer.”

Fumbling with the fabric of her shirt between fingers, Nora nodded her head in thought. “Just a few things have changed since last time is all.” Like the fact that she could regularly orgasm at least three times in one go, simply because of all the blood pumping through her body. Pregnancy did in fact have its perks, after all. “But I’d be okay with either in the end, honestly--I promise.”

“I don’t think so,” Matt shook his head. “No surrogate, I quite like the part before the baby comes along.” He grinned. “I’m all about the natural making of a baby.”
His fingers pressed into the ball of her foot, massaging each sore spot. Matt couldn’t imagine what Nora was going through right now and the summer heat certainly didn’t help at all. At least they had AC, though, which was constantly on.
“Seriously though maybe we should look at getting you induced, or try one of those things that kick start labour? Eating spicy food, going for a long walk…”

“Sex.” The idea hit her hard as she sat up, resting her elbows atop the roundness. “I hear sex can kick start labor though I’m not quite sure if that’s even an option.” Frowning she stared down at herself for a long moment. It seemed even in such a loose top, her boobs were still at least two and half cup sizes bigger. Worse off then that, they’d started leaking. An embarrassing fact she hadn’t expressed to her husband just yet, all things considered it was awkward. Especially considering it always got worse whenever her hormones kicked in and she became excited

“How about spicy food?”

Matt turned to face Nora, the stupid grin on his face not disappearing as he saw her swollen stomach and Shilo move inside it. She was right, she was huge, bigger than he’d expected her to be.
“I think she’s gonna be a big baby,” he said, waking over to the couch and lifting Nora’s feet up so he could sit down, lying her legs back across him. Without a moments hesitation Matt began to rub one of her feet. It was clear that Nora was uncomfortable constantly and the heat didn’t add to that.
“Do you think we should talk about getting you induced early?”

Nora had always favored the idea of a natural birth, something simple with a mid wife. But as each day passed, she worried that those dreams were really nothing more then dreams. The poor woman hadn’t slept properly in weeks, her body aching with discomfort. It wasn’t anyones fault though, that was just how pregnancy when the closer you got to your due date. “I think the Doctor must’ve been wrong on the timing, I’m at least fifty one weeks over here.” Frowning she pressed her palm flat against the area Shilo was eagerly kicking. Their daughter wanted out, she could tell.

“Next time, how about a surrogate?”

“I’m so excited right now,” Matt grinned, looking around the nursery that they’d finished decorating a couple of weeks ago. It was very pink and very princess-y. Matt couldn’t wait to dress Shilo up in all of the clothes they’d bought for her and she certainly had more clothes than the both of them put together. The baby was more active than ever, and Matt just couldn’t contain his excitement. Every conversation that came out of his mouth had to do with his child. He’d never got to be like this with Gabby, so he was taking full advantage of it.

“Like I don’t think you have any idea how excited I am.”

Lounging over on the couch, Nora had rolled her shirt up so it exposed the large curve of her stomach. The heat wave had started in the city and though they had AC, the humidity had started seeping through the walls of their apartment. “Very excited, I know baby.” The coco butter she’d started rubbing across the stretched flesh had promised to help with stretch marks though she wasn’t all that sure now.

“I think she wants out, she hardly has any room left in there.” Nothing would fit anymore, Nora was coming up on thirty-four weeks and she was about as big as a whale. Even laying down, it appeared she had a large basket ball hidden under her shirt. “You’ve turned me into a beach ball, Hartwell.”

Matt wanted to pummel his fists into the man’s face and get him to stop laughing. It wasn’t funny - _none _of this was funny. But Nora was right… This couldn’t happen here. People would talk, they’d see blood on his clothes and his fists. So he nodded, stepping back more when Nora tugged him hard.
“Are you okay?” He asked, turning to face his wife, his hand going to her stomach. “Are you both okay?” The last thing that needed to happen now was for something to happen to their baby. Matt would have lost his mind in that case.
“I’ll book a doctor’s appointment for you tomorrow to get checked out, okay? I don’t want to risk anything.” Matthew hadn’t even noticed the loss of Nora’s bag until he took both of her hands and didn’t feel the strap in one of them. He froze. “Where’s your bag?”

As much as she wished she could decline the offer of visiting the doctor, Nora knew she shouldn't. Matthew was right, they were better off say then sorry and neither would drop the paranoia until they knew for sure. "She's still kicking." Nora assures him, swift his hand so he can feel the swift kicks of their daughter. That was something, at least she was remaining active.

But it was his next words that dried her throat and she glanced down towards the man who was already inching away from them quickly until he broke out into a full on sprint. "That's what they wanted." Was all she could manage as she met his gaze, knowing the trouble this would cause. "Find Hallie or Scott, get someone to keep their eyes out." Because if the bag was gone, that meant Sixes could turn into anyone.

Another man had joined Nora and her new friend just as Matthew had walked around the corner, and he saw her get pushed down, breaking into a sprint immediately.
“Hey!” He shouted, “What the fuck are you doing?” It didn’t matter if people saw him, Matthew was defending his wife and she’d just been pushed down by some clown who obviously didn’t belong here. Once he’d helped Nora back to her feet quickly, he tore his mask off and shoved the guy who’d pushed Nora up against the wall, the other man walking off with something in his hand. That didn’t matter now.
“I’ll ask you again, what the fuck are you doing, pushing a pregnant woman over?” Matt got right in the other man’s face, and the man just laughed.
“Oh you’re so screwed man,” he replied. “We know who you are.”
Matt didn’t falter even though he wanted to at that comment. We know who you are. Did that mean that they knew he was Sixes? How would they find out? He tore the man’s mask off but didn’t recognise his face. Instead he simply let go of the man, looking like he was going to walk away before he turned back and his fist connected with the man’s nose.
“Don’t you ever touch my wife again, or I will kill you. Do you understand?”

Taking a step back, Nora stayed behind Matthew as the two spoke harshly. It seemed whoever the man was, didn't give a damn that he'd been caught. If anything, he was excited over the fact. Whoever this was, they weren't safe.

"Matthew--" Nora hisses, thankful that people weren't around and that he'd shown up in the first place. "We should.." Her words were cut off as Matthew's fist connected with the other man's nose and she cleared the space between them even further. It was a bloody mess and without even really considering her actions, Nora tugged her husband back away from the stranger.

"Not here, we need to get back to the party." That and her bag had been stolen which was issue number one at this point."
