We're gonna need to hear the dog stealing story

it's probably not quite as entertaining as it seems but:

- my mom and i agreed to keep a puppy overnight cuz my uncle wanted a puppy for his 4 daughters (a newborn, a toddler, a preteen and one girl that I'm fairly sure doesn't live there anymore but I've lost count of all my cousins ok, I don't know)

- the puppy arrived and she was super small. like 7 weeks old small. very tiny. sending it away seemed bad

- mom and i decide to keep her until her vaccinations around a month later, so she grows up a bit and whatnot

- first vaccine checkup: no can do, she has worms etc etc, she's on meds, she stays for a few more weeks

- by then me and my mom are concerned about the state of my uncle's life. he's away at work, his baby mommy takes care of the kids, who's gonna take care of the dog?? the newborn??? he was like "she can take care of the dog" and I'm like sir. she has children to take care of, one of which was just born. are you insane

- not to mention they live in a village, and not to diss old school villages but they don't exactly take care of their dogs well (yknow, feeding them scraps, keeping them in the same cage for all their lives, not to mention letting them run around until they all inevitably get run over)

- vaccine time comes, and my mom asks my dad to lie to his brother about her being sick (which she was but he made it out to be more dramatic)

- said brother is like ew, I don't want a sick dog (she just has to take vitamins and be rubbed with a cream, no big deal), it can drown for all i care (here's the moment I stopped caring even a little bit about my uncle)

- and so we steal the dog away from the cursed uncle. and I now have two dogs

#and two cats too#her name is Minerva btw and she loves biting everything#we didn't name her#her name was Minnie but I was like. that sounds stupid. Minerva it is#personal#so it wasn't *technically* theft but like? we kind of stole her

in my defence me and my mom kind of stole a puppy and my education papers are bringing me A Lot of stress so pls bare with me I love you all

#and my anxiety has gotten ten times worse within the last year I don't know what happened at all#I'm anxious about literally anything#it's terrible#like I'm dealing so don't worry about me but my heart rate is like a rave party#personal#yes me and my mom really stole a dog it's a long story

Random Prompts 1 - Wolfstar

decided to start a little series of posts where I'll share some random prompts, free to use for anyone who might like to. starting off with my favourite boys, of course

theme: non magic aus & first meetings

  • Sirius is an actor in a haunted mansion around the time of Halloween. Remus is very reluctantly pulled into visiting it by his friends. at some point Remus absolutely freaks out - Sirius breaks out of character and helps him get to the exit (still in his costume, with fake blood dripping down his hair and all)
  • Remus is looking into adopting a new dog. A friend recommends him calling Sirius - who frequently fosters dogs together with his brother
  • Sirius works at a fair as a summer job, operating a carousel. Remus, a single dad, takes his toddler to the fair, but the baby is too scared to get on the carousel. Sirius helps
  • Remus is a tourist in Sirius's home town. Sirius, working at a common tourist attraction (museum or art gallery or something) but just having finished his shift, notices him. He goes up and gives Remus a tour, free of charge
  • Sirius gets lost when camping in the woods - in the middle of the night, he stumbles upon a different camp. Remus, previously sleeping in his tent and thinking he was absolutely alone in the area, gets woken up by the sound of someone walking outside
  • Remus tutors Sirius's younger brother. When their parents are busy one day, Sirius goes to pick him up and meets Remus for the first time
  • Sirius and James sneak into a random wedding party. Remus is the bride's cousin
  • Remus stands in front of the hair dye aisle for ages, trying to pick a colour to dye his hair. Sirius - watching him for a while now - comes up, picks one of the boxes, and puts it in Remus's hands
  • Remus works at a secondhand bookstore. Sirius comes rushing in once, asking Remus for all the books he has on bats
  • Remus is taking a walk in the park. Right in front of him, Sirius falls off a tree
  • Sirius is unhappily engaged. on a whim, he walks up to the first person he sees - who happens to be Remus - and insists to give Remus his engagement ring just to get rid of it
  • Sirius is an uber driver. Remus gets into a fight with his partner on the phone, while sitting in Sirius's car
  • they're both in an aquarium. Sirius keeps telling his child/brother/cousin very inaccurate facts about all the fish. Remus, a marine biology student, is annoyed enough that he starts correcting him at one point
  • they get stuck in an elevator together - that wouldn't be a problem, but it's a glass elevator. on the 12th floor. and Sirius is terrified of heights
  • Sirius comes into a pet store, sits on the floor, and pets the bunnies. for like four hours. Remus - the employee - is quite concerned
  • Remus gets yelled at by a rude customer. Sirius, another customer, steps in
  • Sirius is a lifeguard at a beach. Remus gets thrown into the water by his "friends". Remus cannot swim
  • Remus rides rollerskates/a skateboard on a random, very empty street. he gets distracted and bumps into someone (Sirius) - thing is, Remus was sure there was no one around at all 🤔🤔
  • Remus falls asleep on a train. Sirius draws him
  • Sirius rushes into the store Remus works in three minutes before closing. Remus is annoyed until Sirius comes to the counter with a bag of diapers, some kinder eggs, and a bar of chocolate that he then gives to Remus "for barging in so late"
