Would love some takes about atmorand religion/Shor/Lorkhan and how it fit with the Dragon Cult.
The bits of lore about these two that I find make me very confused. The worship of the animal pantheon seemed to exist at the same time as the Dragon Cult, however this feels very incompatible, as dragons are associated with Akatosh/Auri-el, Auri-el killed Lorkhan/Shor, so it kinda feels like Shor worship and Dragon worship would clash
oh i think you answered your own question here-- the atmoran totem pantheon doesn't necessarily involve shor/akatosh as concepts. the totems do correspond to the nordic pantheon 'old gods' but a second-era follower of the atmoran pantheon doesn't acknowledge the nordic pantheon, nor does an apparent derivative religion. so within the atmoran animal pantheon there's no conflict between shor and alduin.
perhaps more relevant is the fact that dragons actually lived on atmora. they were right there and the atmorans interacted with them regularly. i interpret the early dragon cult as having been a sort of protection racket, with 'dragon priests' tasked with mediating between dragons and atmorans, the atmorans making offerings in exchange for their dragon's protection (or at least, his tolerance).

you can hear planes overhead as she speaks.
she wants israel to finally admit the truth--they do not want palestinians to go to "safe" parts of gaza, they want people to leave entirely and recreate the 1948 nakba.
please spread the word, please keep bisan in your thoughts, and do not let this happen in silence.

important to remember that many many countries, 120 countries, voted for a ceasefire and that the international community is not just the global north. the world stands with the palestinian people. those of us in countries who voted no to a ceasefire or abstained (and who actively send military aid to israel) must continue to pressure our representatives to end the genocide & occupation. that means protesting, calling, emailing, boycott, divestment, sanctions.
if you're in the us and you're looking for protests — look for your local jvp or psl chapter on instagram. they are usually organizing events.
as always with protests, remember to wear a mask for community & personal safety <3
