When school segregation was shut down a lot of people who are conservative today came out of the woodwork to scream death threats and hateful things and shriek at children…
Children.
This was half a century ago roughly.
 I have clear memories of my Church telling me gay people deserve AIDS. This was 30 years ago.
They were always this unhinged!!!! Always! You just weren’t blissfully aware of it because you can’t ignore it now that you know it’s there.
if conservative adults had known the word "groomer" as fluently as they do now, they would have called my ballet teacher that. They already called him worse, and asked me, a child aged 4-12, leading questions to hopefully implicate him as a pedophile.
An elderly gay cis man who was one of the best people I've ever known and studied ballet in New York.
Most of this happened in the 90's. THEY HAVE ALWAYS HATED US.
