Wrath’s head turned with Gemina’s, staring at Mary with the same disgust he had in his eyes for the other, not because he hated her just because once his face turned up like that it was hard for him to change it back. He stood, taking the clothes from her and nodding. “Anyone with half a brain would keep silver bullets in their gun if they kept a pet vampire around.” He scoffed towards Gemina, smirking a bit. He wasn’t modest like Sloth and in front of all three women and without warning, he took off his robe, using it to clean himself of the blood as best he could, and then changing into the clothes he’d been given. He didn’t try to stay covered or even make an effort to turn so they didn’t see absolutely everything.
When he was finished Wrath turned back to look at Mary and scoffed. “Are you stupid or do you not listen? Get me wine. And fetch some cloths and water, your mistress is filthy.” He leaned against a nearby bedside table, doing his regular trick of pulling a cigarette from the air and lighting it with his fingertip, rubbing his temple with the long inhale. “We have to get the blood off of you so Sloth thinks you’re alright. If I leave before he sees you again I’m never going to get him to stop crying.” Another drag, ashing the cigarette onto the floor like an animal, and a sigh that encroached strangely into growl territory. “Shut up. She’s fine. You have to wait.” He muttered, again rubbing his temple. “I didn’t… I didn’t hurt her on purpose. I gave it to her just like you… no… no I… Sloth please be quiet I can’t hear myself think.” He leaned his head back, closing his eyes. “Where’s my fucking wine?!” He finally shouted, it was easier to keep everyone inside quiet if they were drinking.

Truthfully the two women didn’t care. They’d seen hundreds of men naked and hundreds more would be had, they imagined. Really only Mary reacted, raising a brow as she looked over. Her impress was over however, when he snapped at her. Sneering, and readying herself to shout at him. The only thing that stopped her was Gemina’s wheezing as she sat up, flailing one of her hands towards the other woman. “Alright, alright!” Mary snapped, grabbing her Madame’s shoulder to force her back to the bed. “I’ll get his damn wine and you stay right there. Fuckin’ hell.” She made a clicking noise with her tongue before giving Wrath a dirty look and leaving again to fetch what he’d requested.

“Don’t talk to my girls like that.” Gemina finally spoke up again, growling at him. “They have no quarrels with you.” She licked her lips, tasting the dried remnants of wrath’s blood. The taste was incredible, but she didn’t dare ask for more of his assistance. For another taste. Whatever pain she was feeling was beginning to dull, but exhaustion was settling in ten fold. Her eyes drifted closed as she listened to him ramble to himself like a deranged loon, but his shouting jerked her awake enough to make her produce a squeak.

“Fuckin-.. Stop your fucking yelling!” Gemina snapped, spitting across the room at him. From somewhere outside the room Mary yelled and the door swung back open, a bottle of wine suddenly being shoved in Wrath’s direction. “Here’s your goddamn wine, you big baby. Stop shouting, youre scaring the other girls.” She scolded him before looking over at Gemina. “Alright, let’s get you cleaned up..” The redhead walked towards a door on the other side of the room and entered in, the sound of running water easily flooding through the walls. When she returned she came back with a bowl of water and several towels draped over her arms. “Now don’t try to push me away this time, Mina, or I’ll shoot you again myself.” Mary warned, a light tone of joking in her voice to try and ease the clear anger seething off of the Madame.

“I’ll talk to them however I want.” He pushed back, not even mildly worried about her threatening tone. When she actually yelled at him though he did shut up, only because someone in his head kept telling him to be nice. He bit his tongue, and growled, taking the bottle when it eventually got handed to him and drinking nearly half of it back in just a few chugs. It helped immediately, the placebo of alcohol hitting well before the effects actually did and his mind quieting slightly. “Just get some sleep, I promise I’ll wake you up when you can see her.” He whispered, putting the rest of the bottle into his gullet and then placing it on the table he leaned on.

Wrath pushed himself from where he was, wandering around the room a bit, inspecting a few of Gemina’s things as her lady’s maid got her cloths and water and brought them to her bedside. “Envy thinks you’re in love with him.” He said out of nowhere. “Or maybe a better way of putting that is Envy is insane and has made up a whole relationship with you in his mind.” He chuckled, actually chuckled, though it still sounded dark. He was trying to distract her, the longer she stewed and resisted help the longer this whole process was going to take and the longer it was before they could just go home. He found himself wandering right to the bed, sitting on the edge of it. “I’d highly suggest just playing along with it if you see him again, it’s almost not worth the hassle to correct him. You can get much more out of him if you make him feel like he’s wanted.” He raised a brow, “and that’s what you want from us, right? To get everything you can out of this horrible little deal that Pride and your struck.” He leaned in a bit, “To exploit innocent minds into killing for you.” His tone was shifting into... not a this time more like... hurt, thank god for the little voice telling him to calm down or her might have done something bad since any emotion for him could shift to violence at a moments notice.

“Oh… I’m sorry… did you think I was asking?” He mocked, hardly even flinching at the pain of her bite, staring down at her for a moment. “Drink.” He repeated, fully forcing his wrist into her mouth and holding her down with his other arm. “And while you do remember this.” His teeth gritted, eyes sharpening and a scowl plastered on his features. “I saved your fucking life. I am not bound to this bullshit deal you made with the others. I owe you no favours and no bonds.” His grip on her tightened, arm forcing harder against her, the kind act of giving her his blood feeling much more sinister than it should.
“If I wanted to I could rip you apart right now, leave you to die on this fucking bed, and I would not lose one wink of sleep over it. The only thing keeping you alive is the fact that Sloth asked me to help you because he seems to have a liking for vampire cunts who make him kill people.” He moved closer to her, hovering over her now, close enough that when he spoke spit hit her face from his lips. “He wants me to stay until you are healed. He wants to make sure you’re okay. So that is what I will be doing. And if you have a problem with that then you can try your best to make me leave. Now…” he finally let up on her, moving back a bit, taking the arm off of her that was holding her against the bed. “Start coming up with a plan to make him feel better.”

She might have shrieked were it not for the wrist forcefully shoved into her mouth. The fear in her eyes blended easily with her anger and it was clear she was at least trying to push him off, but the injury to her chest made it impossible. All she could do was give in and allow his blood to flood into her mouth. Gemina stared up at him, tears willing up in her eyes, and flinching as he spat against her face.

Her mouth was stained with his blood by the time he pulled back, allowing her the freedom to inch over. She didn’t make it far though, collapsing back onito the bed. “I brought your clothes..” Mary’s voice made Gemina’s head snap to the side. The two women made eye contact before Mary nodded knowingly at her. “These should feet you better than.. Well, your robe.” She handed Wrath the clothes before turning to Gemina, watching as some of her chest was already stitching itself together. “You’re healing far slower than normal..” She commented under her breath before shifting to look at Wrath. “You removed the bullet? Did it happen to be silver, by chance?”

The question made Gemina snort from the bed, wincing as her laughter was cut off immediately. “That son of a bitch had a plan..” She growled, prompting Mary to nod slowly. “I would think so.”

Wrath’s head turned with Gemina’s, staring at Mary with the same disgust he had in his eyes for the other, not because he hated her just because once his face turned up like that it was hard for him to change it back. “Eir-Eire…” He struggled, shaking his head and giving up. “Rena… I’m-m Sloth.” He rocked in his chair a bit, looking around the room, he hadn’t been to the cabin in years, most of the time they were here something bad was happening and he wasn’t allowed out. It wasn’t just a place for Envy to capture his prey, it was where they went when Wrath killed someone, or Gluttony overdosed again and they had to detox, it wasn’t really Sloth friendly so to speak. “M-m-mum was sick.” He finally responded. “W-we didn’t h-h-h-ave medicine like w-we do n-n-n-now. Now she’s in h-h-h-hell with Father.” He stood up after that, walking around, touching some of the furniture.
“Forget-me-n-n-nots are pre-pretty.” he hummed a little, “I’ll as-ask Envy if he-he-he will get you s-some. I’m n-n-not allowed to u-use the money o-or we could just g-g-g-go get some t-to plat ours-selves.”

“ It’s… it’s really nice to talk to you Sloth. I’ve heard a bit about you already, “ Eirena found herself instinctively going into a softer and kinder tone with Sloth. Perhaps it was the way he sounded so nervous or the fact that he genuinely seemed just as lost as she felt. Eirena watched him for a moment before she rose to her feet, making her way to follow him.

“ I… I’m really sorry about your mother. I know it must have been hard for you to… see and feel all of that. My sister is very ill too, so … I know it’s not always very easy to watch. “ The woman offered up a gentle pale hand in comfort, not wanting to force any touch with Sloth that he didn’t want. Instead, Eirena only watched as he touched the furniture, exploring the cabin.

“ Thank you. That’s very kind of you to do. Why aren’t you allowed to use the money though? “

“Your s-sister can t-t-take medicine to m-ma-make her bet-t-ter.” He said rather plainly, not understanding that modern medicine wasn’t able to fix everything yet, all he knew is that Wrath told him that Mum would have lived if she would hav even able to get the medicines they had available now. He turned around to look at her from the couch and rocked on his feet, shrugging his shoulders. “Th-they say I’m t-t-too young. Th-that I can have m-m-m-money when I am ol-older.” He started walking again, humming to himself, then suddenly stopping and gasping, turning once more to Eirena.

“My c-c-cat!” He almost yelled. “En-envy forgot t-to be-bring him!” He started scurrying around, looking for something, finally finding the car keys that Envy had tucked away and holding them out to the woman in front of him. “W-we ha-have to g-g-go get hi-him!” He pushed the keys forward a bit. “Re-Rena l-l-l-let’s go be-before he g-g-gets hungry!”

Wrath loved every single excruciatingly pained noise that erupted from Gemina,  even if they were not much but blood filled gurgles, and eh was still riding the high of ripping into her by the time he’d made it back to the brothel with her in his arms. He smirked at the scream, following behind Mary far to casually as she tittered about and asked useless questions. What did it matter who did it? What would this little woman do about it? Ugh, she was quite annoying.
He laid Gemina down onto the bed, a bit softer now that others were watching, and finally turned to acknowledge Mary. “Mr. Hill, right before he splattered his brains onto the wall… I had to open her up to get the bullet out.” He responded gruffly. It was hard to talk, Sloth was crying hysterically inside of them, begging for Wrath to help her, fix her, do the one thing Wrath did not want to do. “Fine.” he whispered, finally giving in just so that Sloth would stop. He took one of his very sharp nails and dragging it along the vein of his own wrist, blood spilling out as he sat on the side of the bed and lifted it to the vampires lips. “Drink.” His whole hatred of vampires started because they spent so much time trying to get blood from him, demon blood had healing powers as it was and the half human thing gave it some sort of appealing quality to vamps. At the very least it would heal her as much as regular blood, and taste delicious… or that’s what he’d been told. He turned to look behind him at Mary, cold black eyes staring right into her soul. “Get me wine and proper clothes. I’m unfortunately staying for a while.”

“Son of a-..” Mary looked on the edge of breaking down. “Hold on, Mina, we’ll-..” Her voice cut off abruptly when she saw Wrath’s arm move over Gemina’s mouth, the blood dripping steadily onto her lips. She fluttered her eyes open, brows pinching together before stubbornly lifting her head up to swat at Wrath. Mary snorted at the action, but her pitied amusement at the situation was ended rapidly by Wrath. Gasping quietly, she tensed and nodded – suddenly realizing Gemina wasn’t the only inhuman in the room. “I-.. Of course. I’ll fetch you Mr. Thorne’s clothes.”

The redhead scurried away, vanishing as Gemina managed the strength to latch her fingers around Wrath’s wrist. She bit down suddenly, piercing through his skin, but let go just as quickly in an attempt to avoid being punched in the mouth. “The hell you are..” She growled in her chest, any sign of her humanity vanishing in favor of her truer form: somehow less human than the demon treating her. Pride was strong in the injured vampire, as was wrath (ironically enough), and it was only through those that she refused to drink steadily from the offered arm. “You tried to fucking kill me.”

“Oh... I’m sorry... did you think I was asking?” He mocked, hardly even flinching at the pain of her bite, staring down at her for a moment. “Drink.” He repeated, fully forcing his wrist into her mouth and holding her down with his other arm. “And while you do remember this.” His teeth gritted, eyes sharpening and a scowl plastered on his features. “I saved your fucking life. Listra’s heart skipped and she leaned into his kiss softly. This….wow. It was better than she imagined. She never wanted the feeling of his hands on her face, his lips on hers to end.
And then, just as suddenly as he was there, Christian was gone. Listra was left with one hand in the air where it had been halfway up to his face with a sinking feeling in her chest. Oh no.
He had run from her. What had she done wrong? Had she misjudged what she thought she felt from him? Oh God, what if she had ruined everything and now she was going to lose her best friend. As she was spiraling, she looked down and noticed most of Christian’s belongings still beside her on the couch.
Listra scooped his things up with shaky hands and resigned herself to the fact that she had messed their whole relationship up as she stood, head spinning from exhaustion. She forced herself through the house and out onto the street, nearly dragging herself to the spot where she knew Christian always parked as she ignored how her knees felt shaky.
The door to his car was unlocked and she opened it softly. She didn’t say a word as she set his things down on the passenger seat, not looking up at Christian. She had really done it this time. She couldn’t look up. She was already telling herself she had lost her best friend, she was too afraid she might see it confirmed in his expression. The exhaustion and resignation were clear on her face as she wrapped her arms around herself and turned back to the house, stumbling slightly.

The sound of the latch on his car door opening made Christian nearly jump out of his skin, eyes moving to look at Listra, watching her silently place his things beside him and turn to leave. Ugh. This made him want to die. “Lis...” he sighed, getting out of the car and moving to her, wrapping an arm around her waist to steady her. “I... I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to do that. I think Lust was co-piloting or something.” It was an absolute lie, he just didn’t want to ruin things, he wanted her to think it was an accident. “I was so embarrassed I... I’m really sorry.” he repeated, trying his best to help her back into the house, only pausing to get his things from the car and close the doors. “Come on, we have food coming and I know I can’t leave you alone tonight, you’re exhausted, I want to make sure you’re alright.”

This was awful. His whole stomach felt like it was full of concrete. “He’s been out of control lately, as is apparent from what he did earlier tonight.” more lies. “I didn’t even know I’d done it until it was happening.” God why couldn’t you just tell her how you feel you stupid monster? He got her inside, bypassing the couch and deciding to just guide her to her room instead.

Michael was a little confused by the wording, but he wasn’t going to be rude and question it. If they wanted to explain, they would have. “G it is… I’m Michael.”
“Jacks is a werewolf. People tend to listen to him. No one wants to be on his shit list. He might not have the numbers the bigger supernatural clubs in the area have, but hunters tend to stay clear of here because of how tight he runs it. The less incident, the less they notice. And there’s no…. or at least less animosity between everyone here. He doesn’t stand for the wolves versus vampires and things like that across the board. If they don’t like mingling then they go somewhere else.” He shrugged.

The demon chuckled a bit, another billow of smoke rising up around his face. “Thank God I’m the one in charge right now. Wrath basically hears the word vampire and goes feral, we had to stop letting him come up in these kinds fo places years ago. He’s probably started more fights with those creatures than the whole of werewolf kind.” He tucked some of his unruly curly hair behind his ear, though it just fell back out again, and tilted his head at Michael.

He took a deep breath, closing his eyes, scrunching his brow up for a moment before opening them again. “Maybe I’m too drunk , or maybe I’m just off my game tonight, but I can’t figure out what you are exactly. Maybe... fae? Angel? No not Angel you would have tried to tear me apart already... siren? You have the voice for it.”

As soon as his lips landed on hers, a whimper rose in her throat and she pressed herself flush against him. Her head was spinning as his tongue sank into her mouth, the taste of him alone drawing a moan from the young blonde as she twisted her fingers in the hair at the base of his skull. The way he kissed her made her knees weak, Teagan losing herself in the man. She had no idea how long it had been, but she’d say it hadn’t been long enough, her heart racing as he pressed her into the cushions of the plush couch in her parents living room.
A quiet protest bubbled from her lips as he moved away from her, Teagan quickly clearing her throat in an effort to disguise the noise as she sat up. She stood and smoothed down the back of her dress, following him into the kitchen. She couldn’t help the fond smile that touched her features as she watched him down an entire cup of coffee, stepping forward to reach up to wipe some coffee from the corner of his mouth. She quickly put some space between them, checking her appearance and fixing a few loose waves. She looked up as he asked if she wanted to drive, blue eyes wide as a smile rugged at the corner of her full lips. “Are you serious?” She asked, hiding her excitement well. She had asked a million times to drive Christian’s car, the man always telling her no.”Uhm, you don’t have to ask me twice.” She beamed, practically bouncing. Needless to say, Teagan caught the keys and nearly skipped out the front door, once she made sure she had everything she needed. “I promise not to crash it.” She teased with a smirk.

“Crash it if you want. It’s just a car.” He chuckled, it was strange, everything about him read differently, especially now that they weren’t drunk and it was light outside, it was much easier to see that Christian was.... different today. “We can even put the roof down.” He grabbed a coat from by the door and laced up his favorite pair of shoes, happy he wore them the night before and not the ugly ones that Christian usually picked, following Teagan to the car. He opened the drivers side door for her, waited for her to get in, and then went around to his side and slid down next to her. “Don’t choke the clutch.” He teased, elbowing her arm a bit and throwing a wink.

Once the top was down he had a cigarette in between his teeth and was casually dangling his hand out the window, looking between the view and Teagan a few times. “If your brother kills me for fucking you it’s gonna be worth it.”

For a second, she only gingerly ate at some toast and sipped at her juice. Eirena still had some anxiety about him doing something to the food, especially if he suspected she didn’t want to stay.
“ I like… umm… they’re called forget-me-nots. They’re really pretty blue flowers. Could we plant some of those? ” Was it wise to just start spilling all of these facts about herself? Nevertheless, she was doing it, “ We could plant some tulips too. In honor of your mother… Although… what happened? If you don’t mind my asking. ”
“ My name is Eirena. May I ask which one you are? ” There was no comment on the bad thing aspect. It seemed too heavy to not be a trap in that moment. Although, this one reminded her of her own inner turmoil. Nervous and sad.

“Eir-Eire...” He struggled, shaking his head and giving up. “Rena... The moment she was put onto the ground Gemina knew she had made a mistake. She stared at wrath with blatant fear, but before she could take back what she’d said she felt his hand pierce into her wound. The air in her lungs hissed out of her as tears welled into her eyes, searing pain spreading through her limbs. She tried to writhe away from him as her chest was practically torn open, tried to scream for help, but the blood bubbling on her lips kept her from it.
By the time Wrath was done she couldn’t even move herself, weakly laying on the ground with eyes half lidded as her body tried to recover from the absolute massacre he’d committed against her chest. The only real sign she was still even alive was the way she managed the smallest whimper upon being picked up again, her entire upper torso a bloody mess. She’d heard his warning though, loud and clear, and for the first time since first dealing with pride – Gemina felt as though she’d made a grave mistake.
The world went black while he carried her, only awoken by the sound of someone’s panicked screams. When her eyes reopened she was in the brothel, the dim lights still to bright, and one of her girls was helping to guide her into Gemina’s suite. “What the hell happened?!” Mary, a curly headed redhead beginning to show her middle age, demanded to know. “Who did this to her?!” As far as Mary knew, she was still dealing with the nameless man – Greed – who had paid good money to have nearly every woman in the Brothel to himself. “Jesus Christ, Mina, are you okay?” One of the other girls had fled from the room, fetching someone – anyone – with a fresh vein. “Tell me who did this right now!” Mary demanded, tears on the edges of her eyes as she realized Gemina simply couldn’t speak. The redhead’s fury turned towards Wrath.

Wrath loved every single excruciatingly pained noise that erupted from Gemina,  even if they were not much but blood filled gurgles, and eh was still riding the high of ripping into her by the time he’d made it back to the brothel with her in his arms. Two shots. Even through clasped hands he heard them loud and clear. Tears welled in his eyes and he began to shake, he couldn’t bear the idea of looking, he just couldn’t. It wasn’t until Gemina shouted that he dared to open his eyes. No. No no no! He did this! This was all his fault! She got hurt because of him! The demon sobbed, scurrying to Gemina, practically falling down on the ground next to her as he cried out. “Wrath! Please!” He was begging, scared, he didn’t know that it wouldn’t kill her, how could he know? “P-p-please! I d-don’t know h-h-h-how to h-h-help!” He was looking up as if Wrath was god and he was praying.
Wrath had always looked after Sloth, ever since the beginning. He loved him more than he loved anything else in this world, his love was so strong that it overrode his hate for vampires, and particularly Gemina who had bound them in this contract. The tears stopped flowing as quickly as they came, and the vampire was scooped up into the demons arms. No matter the struggle he would get her out of here, for Sloth. “Stay still.” He grumbled, voice low, angry, as Wrath tried to get them out of the unfamiliar house as fast as possible. “Stupid vampire cunt best not die…” Wrath whispered under his breath, escaping out the back door and down the street, ducking into a dark ally and then looking around. “Where do we go? I can’t teleport other beings.” He wanted to kill her for what she’d made Sloth do, to smash her head into the concrete until it broke open like a watermelon, but he resisted.

Each attempt to comfort Sloth was muffled by the increasingly darkening crimson that she coughed up with every breath. She could only sit up, braced by one arm as the other clawed at the wound in her chest – desperate to get the bullet free from her lung. It would figure Hall would spite her one last time. When Wrath was called upon she looked on in panic, knowing she couldn’t defend herself. Not like that. So the moment hands were on her she was thrashing as hard as she could, which in the arms of the demon was not much. Blood seeped onto the robe and his chest, staining him as he carried her from the house.

Once inside the alley, practically curled into a pained ball in his arms, she managed to form her first words since demanding Sloth leave. “I told him to leave.” She snarled in his ear. “I didn’t ask for you.” Foolish, she realized immediately, to challenge the demon that she knew desperately wanted her fangs ripped from her mouth. “The brothel. One of-..” MOre choking, this time with enough force to make her tremble. Gemina could feel the bullet where it was, dangerously close to her heart, and it threatened to do permanent damage as her chest was already beginning to heal against her will. “Fuck..” She clawed at it, desperate to keep the wound open. “Get it out.” She suddenly snapped, fear lacing into her voice. “Get it out!”

“And where was he supposed to go? He can’t fucking travel like we can and he didn’t even know where he was. You’re lucky he didn’t take that gun and put a bullet in our own head... again... after what you made him do.” He walked a bit further with her, at least the shared memories knew where the brothel was, but soon stopped again as she clawed and shouted. The fear in her voice made his heart flutter, oh yeah, it felt good to hear her so scared, desperate for his help.

He rather roughly laid her down onto the dirty ground, kneeling next to her, a horrid grin spreading across his face. “Oh, I’m going to enjoy this.” He practically purred as he plunged his fingers into her wound, digging it apart, widening it in order to get nearly his whole hand inside so that he could get to the bullet. He had to use his other hand as well, basically holding the wound open on one side. It took a while, it was slippery and small, but eventually he yanked the piece of metal from her flesh, turning it over in his fingers and examining it. “I’m keeping this.” He hummed, snapping it into his little pocket of void in the air, then immediately lifting Gemina back into his arms, he could hear sirens in the distance and he wasn’t about to risk them getting caught because she wanted to wait to heal or try and walk on her own. “You had better start figuring out how you’re going to make this up to Sloth, or I’m going to put that bullet back inside of you with my bare hands.”

The demon laughed, shaking his head. He ordered another drink for himself, and one for the man beside him, before responding. “Darling, I’m very well over a thousand years old, I’ve been to these types of places plenty.” He chuckled, lifting his glass to the other before shooting it all back and tapping the counter for another. Gluttony sighed a little bit, leaning back a touch and swiviling to face the stranger a bit more in his chair.
“It is however my first time at this one in particular, I didn’t even know it was here…. I don’t spend much time with other non-humans anymore. I get bored of the weird immortal drama.” Another laugh. “I didn’t even know I’d stumbled upon a meeting ground for our folk until I walked in and smelled all the supernatural hormones.” He offered a softer smile now.

Over a thousand? Talk about aging gracefully. He wondered if he’d look that good even at one hundred. He raised his brows and nodded, not hiding the impressed look on his face very well at all. “I would have never guessed.”

“But I get what you mean…. It’s uh… something else.” He rubbed the back of his neck, his hand slipping down to play with the pendant on his necklace. He sure knew first hand. “I just find it hard to find a place anywhere, as human as I look. So I just hang around here. The live music was all Jackson’s idea. I wasn’t sure how it would go. But here I am. People seem to like what I do. Definitely a nice change from other jobs I’ve had.”

Michael took a drink, deciding he’d pace himself the rest of the way. He was only allowed so many anyway.

“Jacks tries to keep this place as clean as possible. He’s very careful to keep out as much drama as he can. He just wants this to be a fun place where we can be ourselves, just like anyone else and any human can.” He out his head in hand, elbow on the bar. “I admire his dedication.”

Gluttony, unlike Greed or Pride, was a particularly good listener. He gave such a look of attention whenever someone else spoke, even if he didn’t like them. His social skills were the most developed of any of them considering it was a lot easier to get people to indulge if they liked being around him. So he nodded along, looking around the bar at the end and shrugging his shoulders. “To be fair it doesn’t look like anyone is fighting yet, so this Jackson person must be doing a fairly good job of that.”

He reached a hand out in front of him, pulling a cigarette out of what seemed like midair and placing it between his lips, lighting it with the tip of his finger and blowing a large amount of smoke out, making sure not to blow it into his new friends face. “And I think the live music was a great idea, The last time I’d been to a bar for our kind that did live music it must’ve been...” he thought for a moment, “well it must have been in the 20’s because all I can remember is it was an underground place and there were girls in those awful flapper style dresses that were so loose and strange.” He was lost in his own words for a moment, finally snapping back after he was finished, taking another drag as he looked towards the fae. “I’m... well... you can call us Christian... but I’m G, so maybe call me G. What’s your name?”

The cabin was surprisingly nice inside if not a bit old. It’s decor was vintage, it had lots of light in the daytime because of the large windows, and the logs it was made of made it constantly smell ever so softly of pine all over. It wasn’t huge but there was an open enough floor plan that it didn’t feel claustrophobic inside. Pride spend a lot of time maintaining and decorating this place in the late sixties so it was almost so out of style that it was stylish again.
The demon pulled a chair out for her at the table before taking his own seat, sipping at a cup of coffee, pouring her some juice and generally just watching her eat like a weirdo. At least he knew how to cook, he’d been alive for a thousand years if he hadn’t learned by now that would have been wildly embarrassing. “Tea. I can do that.” He nodded, making a mental note to get as many types as he could so she had plenty to pick from. “There’s a garden out back, it needs some tending to but I’m sure we could get it in better shape and maybe even grow some things. It’s almost planting season.” It was odd when he spoke like a normal human, acting like this was her home and not a prison.

“ You… have a very nice cabin, “ She noted, looking around the room again. It smelled nice and everything seemed well taken care of. Some distant part of her mentioned that this wouldn’t be a horrible place to be trapped in - or at least it could be worse. But Eirena quickly brushed that aside. That wasn’t how she should think. That was only giving up.

Cautiously, she lifted some of the food up to her lips. Eirena would admit that it was well made - even if she worried about any food that came from him. Then again, he hadn’t acted violently towards her since the initial kidnapping. Gingerly taking a slow sip of her juice, Eirena tried to calm her shaking hands and pounding heart.

“ … Th-there’s a garden? “ No, don’t get excited, “ Could we plant flowers? “ She hated herself as soon as the words came to her lips. She shouldn’t allow herself to be so easily bought by flowers and tea. It wasn’t right.

Once she’d began to eat he started to nibble a bit himself, at least getting a pastry into their system, the human half of him had to eat after all otherwise they got weak. His face absolutely lit up at her words, an enthusiastic nod following his wife grin. “Of course! Any kind that you’d like. I’ll make some more plots even, there’s lots of room outside.” It was amazing, planning for their future like this, she wanted to stay, he knew it, otherwise why would she want to plant things with him? “I’m partial to tulips, they were our mothers favourites. We saw them on a trip to Holland once, a long time ago, fields and fields of them, she tried to plant them back home in France but...” he trailed off a bit, spacing out, switching.

“She d-died before w-w-w-we could.” He looked back over to the woman across the table, he’d softened somehow, his eyes almost tilting down with sadness. “Wh-who are... who are y-you?” His head tilted slightly to the side, hands moving onto the table and fidgeting around with a napkin that was in front of him. “D-d-did Env-vy d-d-do the ba-bad th-thing again?”
