Lately I’ve been (once again) very much into sketching tiny characters in huge settings. I want to make a series of paintings with this theme so I’ve been taking pictures of tiny trinkets that I come across so that I could incorporate them into my paintings 💕✨

This piece is one of my favorites in the entire ROM collection; ‘Dream Cloud’ is carved from one piece of boulder opal mined in Australia.  It’s an impressive piece, large enough to fill the palm of your hand.
