hi! i just came to point out a mistake in your summer vocab post, june is 유월! we get rid of ㄱ in this one :) same as 시월 (october) instead of 십월, there’s no ㅂ. it’s easier to pronounce it when there’s no consonants. i don’t know if it’s because you didn’t notice or didn’t know but i thought that i’d message you so that you’ll know! good luck with your studies x

thank you so much for letting me know!

i genuinely thought it was 육월, just like i thought october was 십월 ^^;haha

영국에서 여름은 보통 지 않지만 올해는 더워죽겠어요. Summer in the UK is usually not that hot but this year was super hot.

한국에서는 여름이 덥고 습해서 외출하기 싫어요. Summer in Korea is hot and humid so I don’t want to go outside.

I'm trying to translate "I saw you yesterday" in korean but I'm having trouble putting the subject and object particles in the right place and I was wondering if you could help?

Avatar

I have no idea how old this is and I’m so sorry if it’s literally months late!!

You don’t need particles with yesterday, today or tomorrow. You would just say 어제 봤어요. If you want to specify ‘you’ or put emphesis/clarification onto ‘you’ you would say 어제 너를 봤어요 or 어제 당신을 봤어요.

Super sorry if this is no longer useful to you - I’ve been away from my blog for a few months😭😅

Hello✨

Hello everyone! I know I’ve been kinda M.I.A for the past few months but I’ve been finishing up my masters degree and writing my dissertation during that time so I didn’t really have a spare moment to make posts.

I am now officially finished at uni so I’m gonna do my best to be more active and post more consistently. I haven’t been listening to a lot of korean music or watching dramas or anime a lot recently so it might take me a bit of time to get some inspiration, but I’ll hopefully be able to post a few things soon!

Also I want to thank you all for krjpstudy reaching 2,000 followers! When I made this blog I couldn’t imagine it getting anywhere near 2,000 followers so thank you so much!💖

I appreciate your love !

Hello everybody!

I’ve finally made a blog! I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, ever since I found the langblr and studyblr communities.

The goal if this account is to keep track of my progess in language learning and college. I’ve been looking foreward to having more time to dedicate to this.

About Me

You can call me Lisa, if you’d like. I am 17 (turning 18 soon), Somali. I live in Canada. I’m going to college in September where I’ll be stuyding fashion design.

Intrests are

  • reading, books are great, stories are great
  • watching movies and shows (I’m really into variety shows these days)
  • baking, it is both therapeutic and stressful
  • photography, I’m working on editing things for now
  • designing
  • history, really love history (I love learning in general but historyyy). I’ve got an obsession with roman history. I’m trying to learn more about asian and african history in general
  • when things are busy yet you have time to just looking up at the sky and drink a cup of tea

Time for the fun part LANGUAGES

My target languages are Italian, Korean and Mandarin.

There are a bunch of other languages I would love to learn. Albanian, khmer, thai, japanese, french, sawhili, persian, arabic, indonesian, mongolian and a bunch more

I’ll be using #language-ing to keep track of my progress

These are blogs I really love (and I am so very thankful for them) and I realllly look up to:
