I've been alive 35 years and have had to see this motherfucker's face on the news nearly every day of them. He's been Opposition Leader nearly as long. He's been Prime Minister three times. He finally ran his career completely into the ground in his last term, refused to resign either as PM or party leader, and let his party break apart instead. His party wasn't able to win a single seat in the ensuing elections and he only stayed an MP by glomming onto the one seat kept reserved for his party by the Constitution.

And then, after having fought the Rajapaksas and their party his whole career, Ranil pivoted to canvassing support for them when the whole country was baying for their blood. We fucking finally toppled the President's brother from his PM post in May, leaving the entire government to dissolve except for President Gota. His resignation was imminent. And then Gota handpicked this fuckwit out of nowhere and made him PM, breaking off enough former Opposition members to form a new government in the guise of "restoring stability". This made the fucking turncoat liberals to defect from the Aragalaya (People's Struggle), ruining its momentum and causing it to fall apart.

The revolt we are seeing today is Aragalaya 2.0, formed after over a month of this clown's clown circus bungled the IMF deal and things got impossibly worse. The only reason Ranil was appointed was to protect Gota, giving the Rajapaksa family and their supporters time to rally and move against the protestors. He's still protecting them!!

As long as this shit-sucking sheep shagger stays PM, we are never getting rid of any of them.
