This Blog/These Books

This is a blog for the series Stories From The Michigan Fleet, a very queer series by three very queer authors, set in an imagined future after the fall of America, centered on a civilization living entirely on boats spread across the surface of Lake Michigan and a very big and sad and shy bi cinnamon roll recovering from trauma there. It's got the drama, it's got the hurt/comfort, it's got a giant anxious boy learning that sex can be nice and having emotions about people being kind to him. It's also got kittens in it. This blog primarily exists as a place to compile art and reference made by the authors, or occasionally to answer questions by readers. It's moderated/run by splickedylit. It features

  2. characters that haven't been introduced yet
  3. sometimes, art that is spicy

That would be lovely, if the spirit so moves you! :D The quorum of the authors' group chat is that it's fine to just tag with character names, no "fanart" addition necessary--although if you'd like us to see it it would not be a bad idea to also @ this blog, since I at least don't follow the tags of my own characters on here!

1/2 I've really fallen in love with the Michigan Fleet in the last few months, thank you so much! Of course, I'm hooked by the hurt-comfort and characters and relationships, but I was also charmed by the worldbuilding and work details. I work in large-scale corporate indoor plant care, and the public plants with their little immediate-need holo-screens was a really fun idea for me.

Boat Boys Book 6 is out!
