i just really really love how, in an era of quick fixes and 2 minute songs, taylor - an artist at the peak of her career - says fuck it and releases a 2-hour long album. an album not designed for radio, full of moody songs, with a lot of songs that aren’t pop at all. it’s messy and confusing and raw and honest - and that’s always been her defining traits as a songwriter, but it’s 10000x even more so with ttpd. yeah i know she also cares a lot about sales but shes always been songwriter first and foremost and that has NEVER changed, she puts her art above everything. i admire and love her so so so much 😭😭
