What if, despite my months long absence, archived and completely restarted?  I miss Alec and the fandom —- even if I don’t know much of where the rp side has gone.  Who’s all even still here?

UPDATE: After toying around with the decision of making an OC or completely redoing Alec, you can find my new Alec here if you’re interested.  As such, I’m going to be archiving this blog.

“ that’s mildly offensive I hope you know. “  not that he was at all offended in truth. he was mostly amused. watching his cat and the other was amusing, and a little heartwarming to see Chairman enjoy the company of someone that wasn’t himself.   “ you’ll be happy to know that I haven’t had another cat, “   he muses idly. tucking his arms over his chest, cocking a hip as he watches the male pet and scratch the cat’s chin.

        His lack of tact had landed Alec into numerous precarious ( read: awkward ) situations     before, more than he had time to count, so naturally he was a bit concerned at first that     he’d actually offended his neighbor.  “He looks like a happy cat ---” as if it could amend     whatever negativity between them, as if the lingering hint of a smile and appeasing the     cat with petting could absolve him “---- even named Chairman Meow.”

sighing, she crossed her arms as she looks at the ground. “ i hope. i just can’t imagine how difficult this must be for her. ” meaning she was only worried seeing valentine would do to her mother, whether she could handle. however, the girl believed her mother was capable of doing anything and facing the most evil shadowhunter would not be a problem for jocelyn fray.
once she glances back at alec, she noticed the papers and thought how he never seemed to be on break from his duty as a shadowhunter. he had determination, she couldn’t doubt that and anyone who did, was obviously blind. “ i know you’re busy but can i ask you something? ”

        So much had changed within the Shadow World, so much had happened, that it would     have been concerning had she not needed time to adjust ( Angel knew he needed time to     screw his own head back on ).  “She’s a brave woman.” That much he could concede ----     especially since she was one who was ready to right her own sins.  “I don’t doubt this is     something she can handle.”

        With her inquiry he raised his brows, curious, but if not a bit apprehensive.  There was a     lot still to talk of, to plan, to move forward to, and Clary was a newcomer, yes, but one who     never failed to continually surprise him.  Good and bad.  “----  Ask me what?”

   ❝ he’ll come back; it’s magnus we’re talking about here. i doubt he could go more than 12 hours without stopping home to reapply glitter and eyeliner. ❞ it’d been close to eight hours since the last time they saw the warlock, having promised to watch his apartment while he left to run ‘errands’. the length of time wouldn’t be too worrisome if not for the fact that magnus had failed to send even a text message since his departure, which seems to put alec on edge. and clary, not wanting him to worry, attempts to comfort, an effort that most likely would only make things worse for the other.

        “If he’d answer his phone or send a simple text this wouldn’t be an issue.”  What if?       Such a question winds itself around him, ensnares him, and clings.  It suffocates him,     a snake constricting his chest, pulling a breath at a time just as his inactive phone has     trapped his attention.  A tenacious and painful hold, and still his eyes flicker up to her.       She’s right; he’s Magnus.  There’s no way he’d fall without first raising Hell.  And yet the     concern lingers, the fear grips him, and a slight annoyance at his apparent incapability of     indicating whether he’s to be late or that whatever he’d been doing may have gone downhill     ---- which brings him back to that very question of what if?  “He seems to have this notion     that, yes, he’s immortal, but that doesn’t make him invincible.”

      Pulling away, Magnus directed a soft smile at Alexander with a little bit of delay. With just the same delay he opened his eyes to see him follow after him in a silent demand for more. Immediately, Magnus leaned back in for another kiss, listening to the sound of success right after that — silence, apart from the dialogue on the movie he wasn’t paying any attention to anymore.
      But he had cheered too soon and he realized he should have known it wouldn’t be this easy. Alec was already too invested for that.       “I see I stopped kissing you way too soon,” Magnus joked, voice light and amused. “I’m not that bad.”       There was no conviction behind the words, no real intent to defend himself. He knew he was that bad and he didn’t mind. In fact, he loved that Alec knew as much as he loved knowing these things about him in return.       “Do you need me to google their budget or will you be fine? Look! Did she lose her bow?”

        He wasn’t going to admit it then, not with such a pressing matter at hand, but he’d     concur that the kiss had ended far too soon ( and, frankly, if Magnus was going to use     this as a tactic to silence him, perhaps he should speak out more ---- call it reinforcement ).       But still a smile danced upon his lips, perhaps a bit of the residual high from the kiss, perhaps     amusement of a sort, or even fondness.

        “I’ll be fine, and you are that bad ----” maybe it was time to test that theory, “---- and I     can prove it to you.”  Although he’d be lying if he argued it wasn’t from listening attentively     to each of those instances, of each memory that echoed through his ears, and of their     translation when he watched Magnus.  When the blue flickered at his fingertips and leaped     ( how enchanting he was with and without magic ).  “What were we watching last night?       Harry Potter?  It’s the one with the snake ----”

@darkstcr continued from here;
“No, you’re right I wouldn’t.” Magnus tore his eyes away from the tv, a serious look pressed upon his features as he now looked at the remote. “But I would be greatly disappointed and sad if you did. Can’t we just watch one more episode?” He gave a pout. Honestly, they had been watching project runway nearly all day, but the warlock could watch the entire marathon all day if Alec did not object to it; which he did, obviously. “Fine–you can change it, it better be something good though.”

        “It’d be a bit dramatic even for you.”  Why was it that, with Alec’s life, the resolution of     one dilemma always presented him with yet another?  Why, oh, why couldn’t the Angel for     once grace the young Nephilim with a break from these perpetual troubles?  But alas, such     was his life, and there was little he could apparently do to sway Raziel’s resolve of consistently     trying him and his patience.  “Fine.  One more -----”  a small token he would allow, if only to     keep Magnus from pouting further and ease the transition, “---- if we can watch Spiderman.”
