Hmm...my list of red flags has grown long over the years, but here are the five biggest ones with commentary .
1. They're unkind to or dismissive of people they don't find attractive
2. They don't tip and/or are rude to people who work in food service or retail
(Both of these mean they are probably not a good person in general and will only be nice to you for as long as they benefit from you in some way. Run away from this type of person, FAST!)
3. They won't define the relationship, even when you've made it clear that you want to
4. They won't introduce you to their friends and/or family or show no interest in meeting yours
(Both of these often mean that they are not serious about you/are waiting for something better. The situationship trap is real, and you deserve more than that. Leave this type alone!)
5. They don't put effort into dates or romantic gestures
(You should not have to plan all the dates! If they care about being in a relationship with you, they'd show it with their actions. And if they don't, leave them and find someone who will)

Last Movie: Um...it's been a while, but I want to say Howl's Moving Castle. That's got to be one of my most rewatched movies.
Last TV Show: The Apothecary Diaries. I loved it! 10/10, no notes.
Sweet/Spicy/Savory: All three! Right now, I'm probably leaning towards sweets, though.

I'm not sure I really have a specific type, at least in terms of looks. I've been told that this makes it very hard to set me up with people. But I can vibe with just about anyone who's kind, smart, funny, progressive, and open to new experiences/curious about the world. It also helps if they're a little passionate about something, a hobby or interest that lights them up when they talk about it. Bonus points if they read, enjoy cities, and want to live a dual income no kids kind of lifestyle.
2H ⇢ do you have any object that you like a little too much? what is it and why?
For Christmas last year, my best friend got me a custom Funko Pop of myself. I collect Pops, so this was a very thoughtful gift, and I smile every time I look at it. I also have a Korra one that Janet Varney signed at Comic Con, so that one is pretty high up on my list as well.
9H ⇢ what languages would you like to learn?
All of them! More realistically, though, I'd love to finish learning German. It's long past time for me to dust off Duolingo and get some practice in. I'd also like to learn Japanese, French, and Arabic.

In fiction and fandom, heck yeah! In worlds where people can manipulate the elements and bison-manatee hybrids glide across the horizon, of course someone can know they've met their person after a single glance. I just know Zolt was at least a little in love from the moment he laid eyes on Lin across the misty expanse of the Moonrise Oasis.
In real life, though, I'm more skeptical. I know infatuation at first sight is a very real thing. It happened to me a few times when I was younger. But I think to actually love someone—to truly admire and appreciate who they are—you have to know them, and that takes time, effort, and patience.
What do I know, though? People claim to have fallen at first sight all the time and I'd never have the audacity to tell them they're wrong.

Hmm...If I'm remembered at all, I'd like it to be as someone who was kind, generous, and progressive—a person who cared deeply about humanity and found herself on the right side of history.

Any Linzolt headcanons 👀
Here's a few:
- Both Lin and Zolt consider themselves to be living a double life- their relationship is their big secret-other-life. Zolt is Lin's "friend from the bad part of town" and vice versa.
- Zolt likes to massage Lin's feet at the end of a long day. It starts off with feet, winds up with her legs until they end up in bed together. Lin knows "massage" is code for something else now, but she makes sure to get a good massage out of it anyway.
- Mako is the first person from Lin's life to find out about the two of them. It takes him a looooong time to process their relationship.
- Lin has a secret case file wherein she has been working on finding traces of Zolt's family to reunite them. She has been working on this for decades to no avail.
- Zolt has had lunch with Kanto once- he had no idea he was Lin's father, and Kanto had no idea he was Lin's boyfriend.
- Lin starts bringing Zolt to family reunions and events after the events of this fic and nobody is allowed to freak out.
- Zolt buys lacey lingerie for Lin and she thinks it's hilarious how his motors start running when he sees her in them.
- Bolin hears Zolt refer to Lin as his best friend (at the time he didn't know who Lin was/that she was a cop) when he's a kid and figures that's the kind of love he wants when he grows up.
