This blog has been such a great place for me throughout the lockdown and this pandemic. It's provided me with memes, friendships, and a peaceful place to share my thoughts. But I think I'm done with it. I appreciate all of you for deciding to follow this mess of a blog and for all of the laughs and ask games and cute picrew tags. I'll always be appreciative of this little piece of joy I had throughout a very chaotic year. I'll forever be grateful, but I have nothing left to contribute to this blog and I just feel like it's time to be done with it. All the love always.

You are never going to run out of books to read because there are always stories waiting to be told, and there are always going to be books you haven’t read yet that will change your life as they unfold.

“I’m waiting for you, I’m waiting for the evening calm, I’m waiting for our time, the oblique light, this pause between day and night. Peace will come, surely. But I can imagine no other peace than that of our two bodies bound together, of our gaze given over to each other - I have no other homeland but you.”

Yes, you can do this even if you’re a habitual customer! In fact, pressure from Prime subscribers will be extra effective.

Reblogging mainly to remind myself.

Apartment hunting has shown me that so many kids my age and younger openly broadcast that they are running away from abusive homes and that they are LGBT. I sympathize completely, but you do not under any circumstances need to be on a roommate finder website telling strangers on the internet that you are part of a vulnerable minority with no one back home who cares what happens to you... just say you are moving out, end of. Once you get to trust someone you live with then you can share the backstory. Internet safety is something that still matters.
