Great work! Can you tell how much time in average does it take to finish one sketch?

Thank you so much ! It's quite difficult to say because it varies a lot. This can depend on the size of the drawing, the composition but also the experience encountered during the creation. There are experiences that are sometimes fluid and others that require several days of reflection and retouching to complete the final composition. However, I can give an idea. For a small format (10 x 15 cm), it takes between two and ten hours. For a medium format (18 x 24 cm), it can take one to four days. For a large format (21 x 29.7 cm), it can take two to five days. Finally, I like to come back to my compositions after a few days have passed, when possible. I like working my drawings as series and this allows me to work on the coherence of the series in addition to coming back with a fresh eye and perspective on the compositions. Particularly because I work a lot in details, with a precise approach to things and it's easy to get lost in it. It remains very important for me to maintain a strong intention in terms of lighting and composition. Sorry for the long answer but I hope I gave as many answers to this question as I could.

Allo! I was wondering of you ever sell your observational sketches, and wondering if you had an online store for prints etc? you're work is deeply moving to me, it's gorgeous and I love dropping by to live in the worlds you create for a moment

Thank you very much for this gorgeous message. I actually have an online store and it is possible to find it here. If there is a drawing that you particularly like and which is not there, do not hesitate to write to me. Even if I have did a selection, you should know that I am able to print any drawing.

Your drawings are so beautiful. They make me feel all sorts of things. What pen(s) do you use?

Thank you so much ! For my japanese drawings, I use different sizes of black Pilot V-Ball. Generally, I structure the composition with the smallest size (0,5) then I apply the largest shadows with a larger size (0,7 or 1,0) to finally return to the smallest size to bring the last details in the drawing.

I can hear chirping sounds when I look at your drawings

Thank you very much for this message. There is something in it that touches me and speaks to me. It makes me want to continue working on my graphic writing.
