What I WISH so badly people would understand about The Last of Us is that its not about zombies. Its about people. It has always been about people. When i see people being like “why are there ‘politics’ in my zombie show” I want to rip my fucking hair out. Neither the game nor the show are about the fucking zombies. Its about Joel and Ellie. Its about Sarah. Its about Bill and Frank. Its about Riley. Its about Tess. Its about Tommy. The zombies just happen to be there. Its about the human condition and its about how humans continue to love each other and fight for survival even after enormous tragedy. Its about learning to love and care again. Its about loving someone so much you would sacrifice the entire world for them. If you cannot grasp that concept then maybe consuming media isn’t for you.

"joel took away ellie's choice"- damn it's almost like he knew they were both gonna just end up killed.. it's almost like he had no choice either and the fireflies were always gonna kill her with or without her knowledge. it's almost like ellie is a child who does not deserve the weight of the world on her shoulders like this. it's almost like her survivors guilt and unresolved trauma is what drives her to feel as if her entire life needs to end to compensate for those she's lost; it's almost like joel indulging ellie's martyrdom is a far worse thing than saving her on the chance she doesn't want to die. it's almost like she genuinely was never in the right conditions to consent to begin with and was never going to have the chance to regardless. idk

Summary: Cloud and Y/N have been friends for a while, but there is a yearning that makes their friendship cross the line at times. Cloud has an idea to relieve their sexual tension without going too far that doesn't exactly go as planned.

Sometimes being around Cloud is unbearable. The two of you had agreed long ago not to complicate things by acting on your feelings. With so many mutual friends and living in uncertain times, it just seemed best to preserve the friendship, even though at times the two of you couldn’t help showing weakness. Lingering touches happen more often than they should for two people who are “just friends”. In shared spaces, Cloud makes it a habit to place things a little too high for you to reach so he has an excuse to press his palm against your back as he leans up to grab whatever item required your attention. He screws lids on too tight so you’d ask him for help with that cute little pleading look on your face. 

A Chain of Iron inspired Cordelia Carstairs for day one of @llaertes coi countdown. Cordelia is my favorite so I had to, and I’m so proud of the details on this one. Jasmine flowers on her dress, the daisy, the little moth charm on her bracelet, and the mysterious globe necklace.
