I dont really care if you use the term bisexual or pansexual, but what i DO care about is that you understand that bisexuality at NO stage in history was EVER trans-exclusionary. Bisexuality has always included trans folks, and non-binary folks, and the entire spectrum of gender between male and female, as well as Definitively Gender and agender. It has ALWAYS meant "attraction to more than one gender." It has NEVER meant "attraction to cis men and women only."

So, pan, bi, use whichever label you will. But do NOT buy into the recent-years innacurate concept that bisexuality is attraction to cis men and women only, because thats literally never been the case.

@brassmama exactly.

^^ Like. Its literally right there in the middle of the flag.

And by contrast, this is what the pan flag colours mean:

So literally its just......

  • bi colours = "same gender, opposite gender, and other genders"
  • pan colours = "men, women, and nb people."

Those two things are...... not all that different to each other.

The purple has always, literally since the flag was created, meant "more genders."

And bisexuality included "more genders" in the definition before the bi flag was created, too. Thats why they included the purple bar in the first place, because it was reflective of bisexual people's attraction to and relationship with gender.

If you feel that pansexual suits you better, or you like the pan flag more, then thats fine -- but don't spread the misconception that bisexuality is remotely exclusionary. Because its literally never been.

don't believe the lies that other LGBTQ people are your enemy

Whoever photoshopped the Dashcon ball pit into this photo from the Fyre Festival did such a good job that Cosmo magazine put it in it’s list of things that went wrong at the Fyre Fest on Snapchat.

It took three months but I finally finished working on that Legend of Zelda print. Whew! I don’t know why I chose a Water Temple as the setting, because GOD KNOWS how much I hate those dungeons.

Anyway, you can find the print on my Etsy page!

Here’s some of my art from 2016 that was entirely Archival Quality related. Lots more color this year! Next year I want to do better with more illustrative design work like cover art for comics. On to the next one!

It's that time of year! I keep track of everything I listen to throughout the year just so i can put it together as a cultivated playlist that kind of represents my year. 2016 was.... a lot. to say the least. But it's also why it's longer than my past three playlists. I spent a year listening and 30 mimnutes organizing the play order. So I hope you enjoy! #NowPlaying SteenzMix 2016 by Christina Steenz Stewart

Now on view at Supersonic Art Gallery is artist Michael Howard’s (aka NVM Illustration) solo exhibition of fascinating new work entitled, “Fake Aesthetics.”

Howard has a brilliant ability at portraiture and is able to capture the entire gravity of a generation through his complex, multi-layered works of art.  Through sly references to pop-culture, social media and other forms of communication, Howard deals with ideas of the impermanence of our world and projecting false identities in “Fake Aesthetics.”

Howard explains, “There is something in the transition of turning an object or person into something else entirely by adding stickers, text or images onto anything that completely changes the aesthetic view of things. Take a tattooed man versus one without, the perspective completely changes for better or for worse.  The same goes for objects, etcetera.  The transient state of what is and what is not, has become somewhat obsessive for me and has almost conquered the restricting confinement of ‘why am I doing this’ into ‘why the hell not.’ It’s empowering being able to change an image into something completely different by adding a simple piece of text or a small image.”

Take a look at all of the work on Supersonic Art Gallery.

I can’t believe how comfortable I have became with showing my tummy, but damn! It’s a cute ass tummy! This is the first full body picture I have taken in a while. But I’m digging it! Suspenders, crop tops are my new found love!

I’m super self conscious of my thighs but I’m very proud that I am able to show them off in this pictures.

I don’t want you to see me. I mean, I’m scared that-
And I’m dying. Whatever you are can’t scare me.

San Junipero continues to wreck me. The score was just released and I had it on repeat while crying painting Kelly.
