Bucky Barnes from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

Painted in Photoshop CS5 with a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet.

I have been working on this for two months and every time I look at it I feel like there's something else I could tweak, so I'm finally calling it a day because I think I've learned all I can from this particular piece, and I've learned quite a lot! I enjoyed it but it's time to work on something new.

John's true rendition of this song is pretty much impossible to find. Every version I've heard has BBMak's instrumentals combined with John Rzeznik's vocals, so I decided to edit together a track using his original instrumentals as heard at the end of the film. The film's soundtrack fades over the very start and end of the song in the end credits, so I had to do a little creative editing, but 99% of the song is unedited. I may have used a few seconds of BBMak's version at the very end, but it's not very noticeable.

It’s one of my favourite songs, and if you haven’t seen Treasure Planet I highly recommend it.

The Wisteria.

Last summer my brother and sister-in-law gave me some seeds from their breathtaking wisteria trees, which I've planted and grown into little shrubs. I intend on one day having wisteria as marvellous as theirs, but until my little trees grow, I'll have to settle for drawing one. This one was inspired by the giant wisteria in Japan and if you haven't seen pictures of it I recommend Google, because it's stunning.

Kanan Jarrus from Star Wars: Rebels in an alternate universe where what happened... didn't happen. :) First attempt at properly doing line art. I used Paint Tool SAI for this, which I've never used before, and I really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be using this program again in the future.
