nooo the way i am so late responding to this lovely ask filled with so much feedback </3 kate this means the world to me thank you so much! i'm so sad to say the series has been discontinued due to me no longer writing fanfiction, but feedback like this makes me working so long and hard on shownu's fic so worth it. i'm also super glad you didn't mind the ending, it was a reach because his character was finally falling in true love...pain.

writing fanfiction is a form of art, not a commissioned priority. write buffoonery. write 10k of smut. write a psychological or crime or realistic fic. write that au you've never seen done and don't know if it'll stick. write a story from your own head. write a story based off something you love. write a 20k fic based off one outdated and oversaid or underrated quote. write a drabble with no real concept or plot. end a fic on a cliffhanger and don't write a second part. stop thinking you have to fit into a small box or play along with what's popular just to be considered a "good" fanfic writer.

WRITING TIPS | fanfic writing advice from the dumbass who also doesn’t actually know what she’s doing and hardly has time to write anything anymore anywaysβ€”so she’s using this as a contributing factor to the healing process of her writer’s block and crazy life.

all of this advice comes from learning how to use simple additions to writing such as: helping the content be seen, enjoyed, and labeled/censored properly. every bit of this is entirely based on writer to writer, but i’m posting this to help anyone who needs a few extra instructions and a push to get started/get back into writing!
