“hedwig…you scared me.” had he really been just sitting there, staring at her as she slept? evidently so & despite him doing it before when she first met him, his sudden presence took her off guard as she sat up. “what are you doing here?”
a grin starts forming on his features-- playful and CHILDISH. his shoulders shift, a giggle threatening to erupt, but he manages to hold it back with a hand against his mouth. Hedwig watches her carefully, blues settling on her form as she sits up slowly. ❝ i wanted to show you something cool. but you’re a big sleepy-head. ❞ he admits, head tilting and both hands disappearing into the pockets of his jacket to fish out... a hot wheels car.
nothing extraordinary, but he’s enamored with this toy. ❝ LOOK! it’s from Scooby Doo, look. see? it’s the Mystery Machine! ❞
