who woulda thought forcing it to rain in Dubai through cloud seeding could have unexpected outcomes (even though it has already been proven multiple times to have caused massive flooding in other parts of the world)?
who woulda thought a city in the desert, known for being very hot and dry, would flood from a huge rainstorm (even though it definitely wouldn't have the infrastructure to handle more than a few inches of rain in a day because it's in the desert and rich people are always cutting corners)?
who woulda thought that those huge buildings would bend and sway like that (just because the weight of the water soaking into the porous materials they're made from made them a lot heavier and less sturdy)?

so it turns out Dubai only gets about a inch and a half of rain per year...
it got more than 6 more overnight with more expected tonight.
all I can think about is all those million dollar cars floating down in the bottom of luxury underground parking garages.

put a company logo on it and any crime is legal.
corporations are designed with the exact same structure as organized crime. especially when you consider that all of the major corporations are related... like a family.
the owners and CEOs get together a few times a year to discuss their plans and make sure they aren't stepping on each others turf or cutting into each others cash flow.
sometimes they'll give each other a little extra business to get the heat off their own back.
they protect each other and once in a while they choose somebody to take the fall for a crime so the whole industry doesn't get investigated.
they keep cops (feds) and politicians on their payroll and some of the biggest corporations are literally selling drugs.
corporations don't design products, they buy designs and patents (or exclusive rights to sell them), pay to have them mass produced as cheaply as possible, put their logo on them, then lie to you about their value.
but if you've seen shark tank you already know that part. the problem is most people don't understand that they all do it. ALL of them. and when they can't buy the latest new design/patent they take it by force or intimidation. they spend billions making sure its as difficult as possible for a small startup business to be successful in their markets unless they can put their name on it and take their cut off the top. what does that sound like?

watching people rewrite the terms of engagement for a rap beef just so they don't have to admit their fave got folded by a single verse and then apologized for a weak retort was not on my April 2024 Black culture bingo card but im gonna count it as "lightskint fuckery" anyway.
