honestly, last year one of the best days of my life happened in late March
I really want a close friend of mine to come to my graduation party, but as it currently stands the only other people coming are members of my extended family. I started drafting up a list of people I know who are decent enough friends of mine who might come when I realized something.
It’s not that I want to have a friend party, I am putting other friends in the Close Friend’s enclosure to enrich his habitat.
*SPOILERS FOR TACTICA*
Now I’m not a fan of fridging female characters for the sake of male character’s development, but did anyone else get the sense with Persona 5 Tactica that Eri was SUPPOSED to be fridged and they changed their mind at the last minute? The trauma Toshiro feels from the accident, the idea that remembering it would make him lose hope, the use of a bloody corpse version of Eri as a boss after his amnesia clears to try and break his spirit, it just doesn’t add up if she’s alive and well in the real world. There’s not even dialogue to suggest she’s crippled in the hospital scenes. Yes, she lost an eye, but she directly tells Toshiro after the incident that she hasn’t lost hope and she wants him to keep fighting. You’re telling me Toshiro just decided not to contact her after that and she let it happen?
This is just an opinion of mine, but it really feels to me that the intention was to have Eri be dead in the real world. Anyone else have thoughts?

Got home from Across the Spider-verse and couldn’t sleep (it’s 4 in the morning) so I finished off the WIP I had made to hype myself up for the release. That film was so good that I think my body chemistry is changing.

Y'all have got to get better at handling uncertainty. Sometimes two people will have a falling out and you legitimately won't be able to tell which one was the abuser and which one was the victim. Sometimes you'll encounter a stranger online who might be a channer troll trying to stir shit up or might be a deeply traumatized person trying their hardest to speak their truth. That person with the gendery vibes might be a trans egg or they might be a cis person who just does whatever the hell they want. You have got to learn to act appropriately when you can't know everything.
The alternative is developing really silly forensic pseudoscience so you can draw up instant answers. Sadly this is extremely popular on the internet.
