Talchet Ship Week Announcement!

Welcome, Talchet fans, to your ship week! :D

This was the other suggestion I received when asking which events to hold, and with help from @assassyart​ and Emily_Castrov, I came up with a list of prompts for Talchet fans to create some content for. This event is open to Talchet shippers of all kinds and is here to promote positive Talchet content for the month of November! ^^

HARD AND FAST RULES FOR THE EVENT:

1) Please keep things SFW.

2) Please keep character bashing to a minimum. The main focus should be the ship, and while other characters can act as antagonists or bullies to create conflict in a story or art piece, it is advised that character bashing is not heavily leaned on.

3) Please do not send hate to the content made for this event. The mod will be watching for ship hate, and those that bash the ship content created will be banned from future events. This event is made to create a positive space for Talchet shippers, and if there is ever an event with your ship and they don’t like it, they are help to the same standard. 

Again, please do not hate on the content made for the ship week. If you do not like the ship, do not comment and ignore. Treat others and their works as you and your works would want to be treated.

4) Please respect each other and keep personal drama during the week of the event to a minimum. The mod is also held to the same standard. If there is discourse between participants, the aggressor will not have their works supported from the mod and will be banned from any future challenges.

5) PLEASE TAG THIS ACCOUNT (@weeksofratchetandclank) WHEN POSTING YOUR PIECE! This way, the mod may see the posts and support them appropriately. It also helps the mod collect the pieces for the final masterpost. 

The mod of this blog will be promoting works from Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram during the week. A masterpost will be made for Tumblr; a collection folder will be made for Instagram; and if there are enough people writing fics for the event, the mod will make a collection on Ao3.

Other than the above, the event will take place from November 8th through November 14th. If you have any questions about the prompts or the event, feel free to send in an ask or PM me! ^^

An Apology from the Mod and an Important Talchet Week Update

Hello, everyone! I am popping in to say a few things that really need to be said… 

First, I want to apologize to Talchet fans that follow me and have been looking forward to this week. Not only did you all get less time in the official announcement post, I barely did anything on my part to promote the ship week. During the past two weeks, I was busy with finding a job irl, a friend’s birthday, Halloween, and the American presidential election. The way I handled the Talchet week is unacceptable to me, and I want to do better for Talchet fans. 

I will do better. 

Leading onto the second note, ***I have decided to move the Talchet ship week to November 29th to December 5th***. That gives any Talchet shippers extra time to prepare, something that I barely gave during the first official announcement. I will be doing my part to promote this ship week a lot better than I did the past two, and you will get a ship week with just as much love as I gave to the Nef ship week. That I promise. 

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. If you know any Talchet fans that wanted to participate in the event, please let them know the date changes!! I will be reblogging this again tomorrow and on Sunday, the day when the old Talchet ship week was supposed to start.

Twenty minutes.

Twenty minutes since Gabriel had disappeared into his lair after his miraculous had sensed a powerful negative emotion somewhere in Paris.

Twenty long minutes and an akuma had yet to appear. She refreshed her news app over and over and only saw the usual boring weather reports and political commentary. No akuma alerts. No dramatic live footage. Nothing but normalcy.

Worry worked its way into her mind and then settled heavily in her chest. What if he went out? What if he left? To fight Ladybug and Chat Noir himself? Or carry out some other scheme?

But she disregarded those thoughts quickly. No, he would still be here. He would have told her if he planned to leave.

Twenty-five minutes and she decided to check on him.
