comeback imminent?

For some reason I am seeing a lot of “we failed to protect another idol” in response to Moonbin’s passing.

This is not helpful. I understand the pain of losing someone we admired and were entertained by. And it hurts when someone who gave us so much joy couldn’t keep some of that for themselves, but someone else’s mental health struggles are never, ever, ever your responsibility.

We also don’t know all the details, we don’t know what was going on in his life (or any other idol’s life) behind closed doors. Regardless of reasoning, you cannot burden yourself with feeling as though there is something you could have done.

Take care of yourself. Grieve and cry and talk to your friends. Even if it feels silly or pointless, your emotions are valid. Artists who share their gifts with the world become apart of the fabric of our lives and we recognize their absence even if we never truly knew them.

it's with a heavy heart that i write this post to pay my respects to a dear soul who has left us. rest in peace, moobin. we have all lost an angel from this world. it's still hard to believe the news that i read today. it feels like it was only yesterday when i saw him on social media, looking like a ray of sunshine with his contagious smile, warmth, and kindness towards everyone, especially his astro members. his smile was enough to light up a room and make me smile too. but behind that smile, we don't know what he was going through. it's sad to think that he must have been carrying a heavy burden all along.

my heart goes out to moobin's family, friends, and fans. losing someone you love is never easy, and it's even more challenging when it's unexpected. i hope they find solace in knowing that he touched so many lives with his kindness, love, and talent. he will always be remembered as a bright star that shone so beautifully in our lives, and his legacy will live on forever.

the passing of moobin is a heartbreaking reminder of the importance of kindness in our lives. it's easy to see people smiling, laughing, and having fun, but we never truly know what's going on in their hearts and minds. this is why it's crucial to be there for each other and to offer support, love, and kindness whenever we can.

let's take the time to check in on our loved ones, friends, and even strangers. a simple gesture like a listening ear, a kind word, or a warm smile can make a world of difference. let's lift each other up and support each other as we navigate through life's ups and downs.

we can all make a positive impact in this world by spreading love, kindness, and positivity wherever we go. let's honor moobin's memory by being the best versions of ourselves and by making the world a better place, one act of kindness at a time.

someone in a discord I'm in said something along the same lines, and I wholeheartedly agree.

the saddest thing about this is that moonbin will just become another statistic. in a few months or years, people are going to forget this. then another celebrity goes through the same thing and the cycle repeats. changes need to be made NOW—not just for the safety of idols and performers and actors and celebrities, but for everyone.

mental health shouldn't be such a taboo topic.
