That’s good. I was worried. Of course, I do have a few things wrong with me, but those are strictly problems I keep inside. I’d hate to think they were obvious to anybody else. Especially at the swimming pool in the summer.

Reading was like an addiction; I read while I ate, on the train, in bed until late at night, in school, where I’d keep the book hidden so I could read during class. Before long I bought a small stereo and spent all my time in my room, listening to jazz records. But I had almost no desire to talk to anyone about the experience I gained through books and music. I felt happy just being me and no one else. In that sense I could be called a stack-up loner.

I feel like I should come with a reset button. In other news my friend just finished auditioning for grad school and they asked her to sing. Now I’m thinking about having a song in my back pocket just in case. Only one problem: I can’t sing. I’m a focus on these monologues and pretend not to panic.

february 4, 2019. yesterday i went out for a solo brunch that included super tasty pancakes, reading king of scars, planning my weekly grocery shopping trip and bullet journalling for the day ahead. 🥞
01.29 Hope everyone is have an amazing first month of 2019. So far it has been so relaxing and honetly it feels like 2019 is gonna be such a good year. The next semester starts soon and I am so ready to take it by storm. Haven’t been this motivated in so long. May this year bring growth and prosperity!
