The Custode almost sounded sad when he said that. Perhaps a few of Lady Green Heart's men liked the thrill of battle.

Matt couldn't help but smile a bit... These guys must not have many times to raise their blades. Peace was definitely nice, but he couldn't blame them. As a mercenary himself, he couldn't truly 'relate' to that.

He wouldn't dwell on it as he gives a nod. "Let's hope... I do have to say, this is kinda like where I'm from, at least in regards to the aesthetic, if I may be so bold to pay my compliments."

"You know it--! I'm not exactly well versed in where to find the lady in charge, so I hope you wouldn't mind lending a hand."

At least this guy didn't seem to turn away someone in need of help. That made him wonder if this Green Heart would be a similar minded person.

"Or if you have to return to your post, pointing me in the right direction would be fine as well."

"Excuse me, but perhaps I may be able to help you."

Exclaimed a armoured individual who had overheard Matt's dialogue with himself. This Knight of Leanbox was overseeing this town alongside his comrades on patrol, and spotted him.

"What be your name, stranger? And what brings you to the nation of Lady Green Heart, Leanbox?"

"...Oh, you heard my little bit of self-dialogue." he'd almost frozen in place at that, but there'd be a brief shake of the head. It makes sense someone would've overheard.

"Though if you're asking--! Matt Maragi's the name, I... I actually am from another world entirely. And I wanted to find the person in charge so they could help me figure how to make a living in these parts, at least that was my first thought." he'd at least flash a confident smile, but of course he was still hiding the fact he had gotten here injured... But that was something for another time.
