Grace here has been drawing our D&D characters for almost 10 years now! We love sending her strangely detailed or unusual descriptions and seeing what she does with them. She always comes out with something wonderful!
Sir Isaac Hawkins Sorkens The Fourth (Fourth)
Measuring in at 6"0, 160 lbs, Fourth is about as robust as Elven boys come... which is to say, he is an impish, fine-boned and fragile bastard compared to Human men. It's a small wonder the Navy took him at sixteen. He told them he was a half-elf. He was certain he WAS a half-elf. He was certain he would fill out. Now he is eighteen and his pointed chin is still as smooth as a child's. Still, he's tall for an Elf. There's hope, yet.
Fourth is one military discharge away from being a discount mercenary pirate, but he favours uniform over civilian dress. On land he is rarely if ever seen without light armour, though he is too frail for plate. He wears a leather pauldron on his left shoulder, worn from constant wiping. It gets more cleaning than the rest of his clothes because his neurotic, half-plucked parrot sits there.
He takes after his father with a head full of shaggy, wavy, sandy-blonde hair. He has never kept it quite long enough to tie back. It has never been tidy. Like all sailors, his skin is sun, wind and salt-tanned; his teeth surprisingly straight and whole for having such a loose tongue behind them. There's a chip here and there. No matter. He has the look of a trickster. His father was like that, too. Fourth took his eyes from his mother, though: green and bright. He squints when he smiles, and he is always smiling. His hands are hers. Hers were quick, clever, and rough from from the weaving and the wash and the lyre and the harp. His come from bowstrings and rigging. He can carry a tune but all he knows are sailor's songs. He sings often. He has large lungs for a small man.
Fillith stands at slender 5ft 8inches, 130lbs. Lean and lanky, she is shadow and darkness, moving with sinuous, seamless grace from alley to tavern. Unseen and unremarkable, save for a shock of white hair streaked through with bloody red, close cropped on the sides and all spiked ridge along the top.
She favours simplicity of garb – plain dark breeches, leather boots laced to the knee, heavy cloak with hefty hood, more often than not pulled up over her head to cover her pointed ears and hide her dusky Drow complexion. Though lighter than many drow, she relies on her abundant hood to conceal her. Leather armour sheathes her torso, and a intricately stamped hide arm guard protects her bow arm. 6 foot long bow is never far from her, nor is the dagger she carries on her hip.
Though no one would call Fillith beautiful she has a striking face – deep, soulful eyes peek out from long thick lashes, all surmounted by delicate arched brows. A button nose and high cheekbones flank a small mouth whose thin lips are nearly always curled in a knowing smirk.
Ayna was born 28 years ago to an aristocratic mother and a father who worked in law enforcement. Despite her good half-elven upbringing, she decided to avoid the proper paths woven by her parents, and used her high education to pursue less than honest means of living- grifting and art forgery.
Ayna has darker tanned skin, long red hair with fiery gold highlights, and sharp silver eyes. Her outfit varies wildly on the current grift she is pulling. Currently she is dressed in fancy gowns, playing the role of Victoia Elderton; a beautiful violin player.
Quite recently her fiance has been murdered, to which the target of a con has turned the tables on her. She is wanted for his murder. As Ayna drinks wine when she is sad- she is now always drunk due to her grief. She might always be tipsy with a wine glass in her hand, but she is still a somewhat valuable member of the team when it comes to lies and deceit. At least she would tell you so.
Calm and collected, Ruelia is a young woman who takes her work seriously. Always keeping to the goals she sets herself to. Despite her colder and quiet persona she does possesses empathy. however, Ruelia simply finds it difficult to sit by and allow injustices to occur and will try to act to right them if it's in her power. Unlike Fourth who might rush head first into his problems, Ruelia prefers to think out her actions. Ruelia has challenges getting close to other people-events of her past have hardened her to such relationships and her body language often reflects this. Ironically she still tends to show loyalty to her rare team mates even if she doesn't necessarily enjoy their company. In combat Ruelia is happy to vent her aggressive emotions showing far less restraint and more emotion as she clashes through enemies who have had the misfortune to get in her way.
