In 2014, S2SL was run by our sister @streetlightlove1. Those fics are not on a server anywhere that I have access to.

@everlarkficquestions had a post with links to many of the stories. I'd imagine they may have a masterlist with them still? Below is the post in its entirety.

The collection is still live. We usually close donations in October because we don’t add new content until the next round. If you wanted to donate, though, we would grant access. We just want to be up front that there is no new content added since last summer’s round.

The donation party isn't us. Can you try a different charity? We have had a lot of local and national charities, so Hope for Caroline isn't the only option. Just today we have had Starlight Foundation and Ronald McDonald House as well as Hope.

Try that? I know Hope has had trouble with certain types of credit cards in the past.

When a Lady overlooks - mores2sl

This is my contribution to the @mores2sl collection 2018, which you can still donate to! :) Especially since two more stories have been added!

As always I’m grateful for being able to take part and read the amazing stories, to be continued fics - @alliswell21 I’m looking at you and waiting patiently, or at least trying too - and drabbles that other authors have contributed as well as the lovely drawings.

Quick warning, the sneak peek features blood/an injury.

Words - over 16,000.

Chapters: 11

Summary: Peeta grew up yearning the intelligent & beautiful Lady next door. Yet she left without a word. During a night alone he pours out his frustrations the only way he can-through words & drawings. When a Lady overlooks was a hurt-fuelled love letter to every young man that had been ignored by a woman of society. Years later he journeys back to his home town only to be delayed due to extreme weather. And he’s stuck with the one woman he no longer desires. The only problem - she’s finally noticed him.

Sneak peak:

“Your hand" she says shakily.

“Huh?”, I glance down to see my arm drenched in blood. Broken shards of glass scatter that floor and I think there’s a few pieces stuck in my flesh. It must be from when I tried to grab her.

A sharp ripping sound, echo’s in the silence. She tugs my hand down and wraps a piece of her cotton dress around the wound. Her hand shakes the whole time as she executes a poor excuse for a knot.

“Ho-hopefully it won’t get infected”. I nod, uncaringly. When was the last time a woman was so gentle with me?

“I don’t like seeing blood” she whispers, her eyes drifting open and closed.

“Well I don’t like losing it”. Her body shakes again, though this time its followed by a quiet laugh. I shove myself off of her and hoist her up as gently as possible, making sure to hold her close lest I trip and drop her back onto glass or some of the splintered wood. I stumble out of the carriage door, which I now realise is hanging by its hinges.

I lean towards the front of the carriage as soon as we escape the vehicle and Katniss curls her body up. She presses her face against my chest as though trying to disappear into the material. “I still don’t like you” she mumbles.

“Likewise”, I say, but the word seems empty.

You can pick a local charity. We like stuff that helps the fight against children’s cancer. If that’s not available, something for children. As long as it’s a charity, we’ve never turned one away, so it’s really up to you discretion.

(I know, that sounds totally wishy-washy. Sorry. Pick something you believe in and do that thing.)
