POST PLUS IS COMING, WHETHER YOU WANT IT OR NOT!

Despite the fancy survey, changes to the UI and TOS reveal we’re getting the service in the future whether we want it or not. Obviously, Post+ is a terrible idea that is trying to bank revenue on user content. Unlike patreon or onlyfans, tumblr’s primary focus is on FAN content. The legality of this is NOT in the users favor and as the new tumblr TOS states, said users will be entirely liable for whatever legal matters arise.

SO WHAT ARE WE DOING?

Besides filling out the survey, it’s time to show tumblr we mean business and show our displeasure by hitting them where it hurts.

Ad revenue.

We’re proposing a 24 hour log off as phase one of this protest.

7. I’ve done both. I’m usually so engrossed in what I’m reading I block out all other noise so I don’t realize music is playing or the tv is on or someone is talking to me 😅

8. uh sometimes I get frustrated and wish they wouldn’t make screen adaptations. Just let books be books. No screen adaptation is going to be 100%. So at the end of the day, I either treat it like an AU or I pretend it never happened 😆

9. 🤔 I would comment on everything, reblog everything, I was quiet, shy, until I slowly built the confidence to talk to people who I felt made my life better with their posts. I wanted to be friends with everyone. In many ways, I’m the same, but there’s a level of exhaustion that’s with it now. Sometimes it feels like I’m running a race on a treadmill while everyone else is on pavement. I can’t keep up with anyone. So I stopped trying. I’m just the quiet, secluded artist, now.

10. Yes. But I never share them. I’ve seen the repercussions. I’ve seen how they are often handled. And I’m tired. I don’t want that toxicity on my blog. People will always have their own opinions. I’ll continue to keep mine to myself.

6. Twitter, I used to simply have an account to do some research regarding my work and how to get about it, (long story). But yeah, TSC got me actually posting. And is completely dedicated to TSC.

8. Screen Adaptations, umm im okay with them as long as I haven’t read the books. I actually stopped my reading of Grishaverse books for Shadow and Bones Series, if I read the books after I watch the show. I respect the book and author both a bit more.

9. The Obsessed One, literally I end up thinking so much that I start having dreams. I’m the sort who would love to discuss everything, regarding the fandom.

And some people were a bit pissed about how I’d written about Anna there. But overall, there was a positive response from most people, whom I’d really like to thank. It was also my first post on Tumblr. 😳 Otherwise I just reblog other’s rants abt other characters. 😂
