“Not a chance.” Ahura rolled his eyes, being told that many times before, and casually shrugging it off. “Well, trust can be earned just like respect, but my point is that it’s not black and white. Either way, I won’t be telling your brother about this, But I win the bet, because I still like you.”

“Only if the other party has proven themselves not to be trustworthy prior, I guess.” he offered. Ahura and Alex were opposites but still they found a deep bond that has lasted throughout the years. “Yeah, I’m really good with that at least,” he chuckled rolling his eyes. “Nope, never. I’ve always known I liked guys, and have never seen myself or experienced anything like that regarding girls.”

“Not all that complicated either.” Ahura said knowing how hard it was to gain the trust of his people. “My first kiss,” he said it with an air of nonchalance. “He just wants me to get laid, and well let’s just say I’m rather stubborn. He can sleep around and be with whoever, but I kind of only wanted one dick, and even though that’s kind of crazy I’d rather let it be that instead of letting myself have something utterly meaningless the first time.”

“Guess you’re just gonna have to trust me.” He teased. Watching him get up he listened to his words and smiled. “Don’t worry, it’s not like I’m keen on letting him know that I just kissed his little brother or that he was my first kiss. He’s been trying to get me laid for month now, and I’m still saying no.” he blurted. “This is between you and me, nobody else. Even if it just a bet.”

He welcomed the deeper kiss, wrapping his arms around Jack’s neck giving himself slight leverage as he pulled himself closer. This felt extremely good for a first kiss, usually he’d hear horror stories about the first times someone had their kiss. “Oh, guess I must be a natural then?” he joked as well, before pecking Jack’s lips. “I’m pretty sure I won the bet, unless you wanna keep doing this until you’ve think you won.” he suggested with a shrug. “I don’t mind either way.”

Ahura had never expected his casual swinging by the Power household would suddenly have him about to kiss his crush. This would be Ahura’s first kiss, and while he admitted that fact to those who asked, he wasn’t shy about it. Although in this instance he didn’t know how to react to being kissed by the boy’s he’s had feelings for for so long. Nothing bad could come of it. He thought, or at least he hoped. “Yeah, it’s pretty much just like that except I get to be a little cuddly on the date, and eat your food.” he teased, trying to make it sound as pleasing to his ear as possible. The moment he felt Jack’s lips, he fell into the rhythm almost deepening it before their lips parted. Blinking, he tried to center himself as he ogled at Jack. “Wait, you forgot something,” he mumbled, before leaning into kiss him again.

“I mean it’s kind of hard to not point it out.” he giggled as he shook his head. He liked Jack for what seemed like ages, usually one would assume it’d be Alex and Ahura who’d end up together, or at least Ahura having a crush on Alex made more sense. The boy just couldn’t see his best friend that way, and what he saw in Jack it just made sense, it felt right. Sitting up he furrowed his brows, looking  a bit bewildered at Jack. “Okay, now what?” he laughed, wondering if Jack would actually go through with whatever he had in mind. “The bet is, if I still like you after and feel the same then you take me out on one date.” 

Blushing he rolled to the side, as he chuckled. “Thanks, and that actually means a lot to me.” Ahura was troubled, but he’d managed to become the man he was today because of al the hardships he faced. He liked Jack, and not because of his own fantasy, he liked the boy’s grumpy nature, the fact that he had no filter, and how he was nice to him especially. “Wanna cash in that bet. I don’t think it’s that. I’ve given thought to it being just an infatuation, but I realized I like you for you, yes some might call you an asshole, but you’re not that way with me, and I like that you can have no filter. I wish I was that way sometimes.”

   “ so stop saying i’m good looking –– i mean, i am but you don’t need to point in out every time” jack chuckled. he knew that ahura only did it because he was being nice, and being himself. to be honest about this, everything about this bothered him. well actually what did bother him was the fact that ahura was so sure in his case, something jack never had been with anything regarding things like this. the other might not see it, but he was much more cool then he gave himself credit for –– at least jack would say so. okay actually, he might not tell him but he would think it. sharing wasn’t part of jack’s nature, at lest not everything about feelings and stuff. when the other said the word ‘bet’ a little almost light fired up in jack’s eyes. he was always up for a bet, he didn’t know why but almost every time someone said something like that, he had a need for proving them wrong; even if the odds where agains him. “ okay, sit up” jack commanded turning to face to other. “ i don’t know what i bet on this, but it’s a bet” 

“Because unlike you, I’m not super attractive.” Ahura shrugged, as he looked up at Jack. “But I like you, and that’s not going to change anytime soon. I’ve liked you for a while, and I like spending time with you. You’re a really cool guy, at least to me, and that’s all I care about. Feels like I can be myself with you.”

      “well if you most know, you are not ugly you know” the blue eyed boy chuckled with a smile on his face. jack still didn’t get it, because ahura was a good guy, nice and all that. he? well he didn’t see himself as any of those things so he still didn’t get why someone like ahura would like someone like him. he’d not ask twice if the other liked alex but it seemed like that wasn’t the case. “i bet you, if we kissed you would not feel the same way –– just because maybe you just like the idea of me or whatever people say” 

“No, but flirting is definitely something you don’t need to be good at.” Ahura laughed before he scrunched up his nose at Jack. “You ay brave I say dreadfully stupid. It is what it is, I like you. Don’t know why, but it’s just how it’s always been,”

    “ why would you have to be good at it, and not me?” jack asked as he sat up leaning into the wall behind his bed as he added with a chuckle “ to be honest i don’t get why you like me either –– there are many better people to like around this town” 

Ahura sighed, before nudging Jack slightly. “Yeah, but you’re not the one pining after someone who’ll most likely never reciprocate those feelings.” he mentioned briefly before sprawling himself on the bed. “Besides, you don’t have to be good at it, you’re you.”

     jack rolled his eyes before he said with a chuckle “ just because i’m me, don’t mean i should not be good at things –– “ he wasn’t sure if that was actually what he meant, but it was how it came out. “ but hey, i think it’s really brave of you to be so open about it” 

Ahura fidgeted the moment Jack announced that he was staring, and even if it was a common thing he felt flustered each time. “S-Sorry, you know I never mean to, it’s just you…” he gulped feeling his mouth suddenly dry as words escaped him. “I’d try to say something flirty, but I’m no good at that.”

     “ it’s fine ahura” jack laughed. he didn’t really mind having someone have a crush on him. it never really struck him as a bad thing anyways. plus ahura was nice and the times they had been hanging out normally ended up being amusing so he didn’t mind. “ –––– you don’t have to be good with it, it’s not like i’m good at that either so”
