“Great, just great... What am I suppose to do now?” As the Kresnik took another look at his watch, knowing that he had just missed a appointment for a interview. Taking a seat against the wall staring at his watch as he wondered what he could do. “I had one shot and I blew it... How am I suppose to find a job now?”

“Good morning Ms. Marta, I was on my way and I thought I’d give you a visit.” Actually he was preparing for a meeting and he needed some papers, but... whats the harm in a little lie? “Oh, do you have the papers I gave you last week ready?”

As he memorizing the coordinates, silently whispering them. “FD1475, FD1475…..” Slowly opening up the rift as he didn’t want any mistakes. The rifts were so strange as everyone felt so different, as if it had to do with the catalyst itself. “You should go in first… Also you don’t have to call me by my last name… Just call me Ludger.” He wasn’t used to being called by his family name as Julius told him to only use his first name when he was younger.
“Ah…sure, Mr. Kre– er, Ludger.” This will certainly take some getting used to. She rarely called other co-workers by first names, simply out of respect. But if he prefers it, she isn’t going to argue it. “You may call me Eleanor, then.” There. First name basis should lessen the tension here. She then nods, taking precautions before stepping into the rift.
Though the amount of missions she has been on are few, that sickening feeling in her stomach never fails to hit her upon entering the new dimension. She glances around, unable to pinpoint exactly where they are. “Is this familiar to you, by any chance?”
She didn’t seem as bad as he expected, just a bit too formal to his taste. Ludger hoped that he didn’t give a horrible first impression with his previous attitude. As he hoped that this mission wasn’t going to be difficult as the previous dimension had almost ended in disaster.
Entering the other dimension gave Ludger a familiar thought that made him sick to his stomach, but he tried to hide it as he didn’t want anyone to worry about him. “Well, We’re pretty close to Nia Khera. Although it seems different.”

“Excuse me.” The Idol gave a small nod of apology as she took a step aside, after unintentionally blocking the other while they both tried to enter and exit the Hee-ho Mart at the same time.
“Go ahead.”
“Thanks.” Ludger hastily exited the store, adjusting the bag he cradled in his arms. As he readjusted the bag, the Kresnik turned towards the Idol with embarrassed expression. “Sorry about that, I was on my way out and I got distracted.”
“Since you’re a butler… could you get me some food? Like… some roast beef or something.”
“Why would you ask such a question? Just because I’m a butler does not mean I’ll just make you something.”

“Nothing much, I’m just trying to spend some time.” Thankful that Jude was willing to help, Ludger sighed in relief as he took another look at the curry as if it could spew flames. “Take your time, I won’t be leaving the apartment anytime soon.” He had to find a way to explain the situation without mentioning the curry. As the Kresnik took a brief moment a silence, he came up with a simple excuse. “Well... I’m trying out this new curry recipe out and I need some help tasting it. I’m not sure if its just me, but I think it has a funny taste.” A tiny little lie wouldn’t hurt anyone... Right?

As Ludger listened to what she had to say about the job, nodding ever so slightly. “I see... I can wait, in fact I have all the time in the world to wait.” He didn’t have much to lose as he had a false identity and personality to fall back on. His blank expression and tone made him think about how much different to how he spoke and acted, making him slightly uncomfortable. “I hope it won’t be too much trouble if I accompanied you, I’m just curious about the environment here.”

As the Kresnik took a long stare at the stone thinking about what she said. Thoughts divided about her statement of the lack of aftermath. As he kept silent he didn’t know what to say wondering if he was just paranoid about transformations. Pulling out a battle-scarred watch to compare the two. “Well I guess I’ll have to see it to really believe it...” As he took one more glimpse of the stone as he put the watch away.
“You don’t have to worry about me, I’m just glad I actually have a choice to fight or not this time.” As he patted his pocket to ensure the watch was in it’s proper position. He didn’t know what to expect on the battlefront, but he was confident that he’d make it through keeping a hidden trick, just in case. “I know that it won’t be easy, but I promise that do my best.”

“A soul bridge? Sounds like something I shouldn’t mess with... I’d rather not.”

A sigh of relief came out of his mouth as Momodi didn’t sound like a certain someone he knew. “She doesn’t sound too bad... A whole stretch better than my old boss.” As a sour memories about the man came back, Ludger silenced them, as he listened about the kitchen. “Well... I meant something else, but its nice to know that some thing stay the same even when you’re traveling.”
The thought of her never actually working there bothered the Kresnik. “So, you’ve never worked for the Quicksand?” He had doubts about the place,but what choice did he have? “Sounds like trouble stirs up once in a while... Should I be worried?”
“Who are you this time?”

{I’m really sorry that I just disappeared, before my unexpected hiatus I got a job and people just kept asking me to take their shifts and I had to finish the last of my projects and test, I’ve also traveled home for the summer and went on a family vacation.}
{I’m really sorry and I’ll get back to finishing drafts, I’ll be more active now that I have some free time on my hands.}
