“You were amazing out there love, as always,” Rose smiled and leaned her head on my shoulder. “Oh Arthur, you always say that... but thank you,” I nudged her slightly, “It’s because I mean it. Your voice is just...” I smile, taking a sip of the heady wine, my head feeling light. “I love you...”
“Are you drunk?” She asked playfully. I shrugged my shoulders. “Perhaps...” I said, giving her a flirty smile. “You’re cute when you’re drunk... you get all mushy,” I turned to her, leaning into her slightly. “Mushy, huh?”
“Mmhmm,” she replied; she seemed distracted, her fingers playing with the stem of her wine glass. We sat there in silence for a few moments, our bodies leaning into one another, comforting both of us.
I looked back at the growing crowd, it was Colin’s turn to play, but I had no interest in his upcoming set. “Hey,” I nudged Rose slightly, “wanna get outta here with me?”
She looked around, downing the last of her wine, “yeah, let’s go.”

“Arthur, your girl is amazing,” I smiled at the compliment, “she sure is, Colin. I’m a very lucky man,” Colin raised his glass, “you sure are; how long have you two been together?”
“Almost 9 months. Not that long, but long enough to know that I’m completely in love with her.” I said, my voice filled with pride. Colin smiled and sipped his wine. “I’d love to find a love like that for myself one day.” I quirked a smile; was he jealous?
“Want another glass? On me of course,” I asked but Colin put up his hand. “Nah, thanks though. Don’t want to be too tipsy for my performance.” I smiled. Colin was a pretty good musician and he always drew quite the crowd. We were two months into a three month tour and we were having the time of our lives. Tonight, they were playing at a swanky lounge in town; it was a nice change from the countless number of dive bars we usually went to.
I nodded, my attention turning to Rose and her sultry voice. I smiled to myself. Tonight she looked… gorgeous. Her hair was done in soft tousled waves, her blue dress showed off her curves way too well. I shifted, my body coming alive with thoughts of her.
Fuck, I couldn’t wait to take her back to the hotel and make her mine over and over again.

“Babe, come on, they’re here,” I nudge Rose, who was currently snoozing in my lap. She moaned softly, her eyes fluttering open oh so slowly.
“It’s so freaking early...” She moaned as she sat up. I laughed and stretched, making my way towards the luggage that sat by the door, ready to go. Throwing my bag over my shoulder, I picked up one of Rose’s bag with my other hand. I playfully rolled my eyes and gave Rose a sideways smile. “Come on sleepy head,” I teased. Rose smiled and kissed my cheek, grabbing the rest of her luggage.
“Fine, let’s go lover boy.” I opened the door and we stepped outside ready for our adventure to begin.
So, my queue is slowly winding down, so for now, I’m going to be posting one post a day until I can get my queue bulked up again (hopefully this upcoming weekend!). Thanks for those who have stuck around. I have posts queued up until Wednesday (and they are all #singh legacy posts!). 💖
“Now, are you going to tell me what’s going on?” I asked, pulling her warm body closer to mine. Rose smiled mischievously and snuggled closer. “Hmm, I suppose.” I raised my eyebrow and playfully tickled her side. “Come on then, babe.”
“Well, the guy… Chris, who I was talking to last night… he’s a tour manager for a local artist who’s about to go on tour and… he wants me to be his opening act!” she exclaimed, excitement written all across her face. I sat there speechless for a few moments, processing what she had just said.
“That’s… tour? That’s amazing babe! Wait, when is this all happening?!” Rose bit her lip and looked down a little, “um, next weekend, they leave.”
“Oh…” was all I could muster. While I was over the moon about this opportunity for her, I couldn’t help but feel how fast this all felt and how much I was going to miss her. Rose must have noticed my discomfort; she gently squeezed my hand, bringing her face closer to mine.
“But, that’s not the best part, my love…” she continued, her lips close to mine. “Oh? And what’s this best part?” I asked, my voice soft. “I want you to come with me; I want to experience this adventure with you by my side…”
My eyes widened with slight surprise and the corners of my mouth turned upwards. I cupped the sides of her beautiful face and pecked her sweetly on the lips. “I’d go anywhere with you,” I breathed. Her face broke out into a huge grin and she snuggled closer.
“I love you…” she whispered, her eyes closing, her breath slowly evening. My hand tangled in her hair while my lips kissed her forehead, “I love you more.”

“So… think about it, yeah?” Rose nodded, “Of course! I’ll get back to you tomorrow, Chris.” I raised my eyebrow in curiosity and cleared my throat.
“Oh Arthur!” Rose exclaimed. The guy nodded in my direction, his hand still clasped onto my beloved’s. “Boyfriend?” he asked. Rose started to open her mouth, but I answered before I she got a chance to.
“Yeah, I am. And you are?” The guy smiled cheekily as he let go of Rose’s hand - fucking finally.
“I’m her future, bro…” And with that he just… walked away. I growled in anger and turned to Rose to ask her just what the fuck was going on when my questioning got interrupted when she flung herself into arms.
“Umpf!…Rose, what’s going…”
She nuzzled her face into my neck, “take me home, Arthur.”
“Rose, what is…”
“I said, take me home Arthur.”
