“Trans men are pressured to be feminine” “No trans men are pressured to be masculine”
Actually I think trans men are pressured to be cis and that no matter what way we present some cis people will treat us poorly. I think it’s weird how y’all act like transphobes treat any trans men well.
Like yes feminine trans men are treated differently than masculine trans men - I’m not denying that. But sometimes it feels like y’all act like trans men’s masculinity is treated well when it just isn’t.
Trans men presenting in anyway are gonna be treated poorly because people don’t have a problem with how we present - people have a problem with us being trans.
women- especially women of color- aren't completely and totally pushed aside in fiction for the favor of m/m ships that usually have little to no chemistry. i swear. the reason there's no content for them in fan media is because. uh. (sweating buckets) they're less interesting in canon. unlike the men, who have been projected onto by fans to the point of having whole new personalities. which is different
obviously we can't project onto women because women just aren't at the same level as men. NOT BECAUSE IM A MISOGYNIST!! they just have less depth and they're more shallow and one dementional. not a misogynist.

This video I filmed for my children while they were playing in one of the amusement parks in Gaza. I was looking at them and I was happy because they were happy, as if I had everything when I saw my children playing and laughing. But when the war happened, I almost felt helpless because I was unable to provide them with safety That's when our house was bombed and we lost many of my family members. I, my children, and the rest of the family miraculously survived. Then I was struck by a feeling of fear and helplessness. where I go ? Where can I find a safe place for me and my children?
I run from one place to another and there is hardly any safe place So as not to be too long for you, words are too small to describe this feeling as you see your children living in a bitter reality where there are no necessities for a normal life.

it sucks so bad that if you're a fat person you really Cannot post or say anything about body image or body politics or fat liberation without at least a couple of thin people deciding to make you their therapist for the moment. like the tendency of skinny people to just dump a couple vent paragraphs in my inbox about their eating disorder, no trigger warning (how could i have ED issues after all? i'm fat!), multiple restatements that looking like me is their worst fear, a few jabs about how nice it must be to "not care about my body image as much," all without any active malicious intent -- and this has happened well over a dozen times to me and is something i see happen to other fat people constantly! if you're thin and you're having issues with your body or relationship to food i'm genuinely very sorry, and I hope you can heal from that and find sources of worth beyond your thinness, but you neeeeed to stop treating fat people as obligate caretakers just bc you can't extend us enough compassion or courtesy to understand that we might experience those same issues (let alone find them compounded and medically formalized by systemic fatphobia)
