Tina felt her stomach growl, putting her hand over it, trying not to think of how drastically it’d change if she did end up carrying to term. “No, just the same old pointless nothingness,” she replied. “Probably better than the alternative, I suppose.”

Tina declared that it was the same old nothingness and Jesse just nodded before sighing and closing his eyes. When he’d gotten up today this was not what he’d forseen happening. There was so much to figure out that it was starting to give him a headache. “Sometimes pointless is good.” He finally agreed, wishing for a distraction himself.

i think itd work if i broke it down a bit, and get the energy to actually make it lol. yeah in like 2013 i ran and joined plenty of good ones, but i think post 2015 it was hard to get anything off the ground

Yeah, as a bitter kurt stan ™ I had a lot that kept me away from the latter half of the series - which is why I play my kurt the way i do lmao. Tbh I’ve always wanted to do a meta au where like, the characters are actors on a tv show, but the gag is that the plot of the fake show is very loosely defined, but it seemed too convoluted 

That’s why I like season 4 era redos. Partially because I couldn’t stomach watching seasons 5 and 6 lol. I think that’s the point that had the most potential for all the characters, and whenever I write fics that tends to be the route I take.

“‘Kay!” Tina answered, aimlessly scrolling through her phone in the meantime. She needed something, anything to distract her, to take her mind off of things. But it seemed like every post on every social media redirected her to her current situation. It was exhausting.

After simply deciding on a bowl of soup, Jesse grabbed his phone and called their order in, using the post it Tina had left with what she wanted. After hanging up he sighed as he fell backward onto the bed. “They said it will be between 40-50 minutes.” Glancing at her to see her looking at her phone he yawned before speaking. “Anything interesting?” 

Tina spent the next few minutes deciding on her order, then taking a post-it note from her desk to write it down on. Her handwriting was messy, but legible enough for either of them to read off while placing the order. She tilted her head when he hadn’t come back from the bathroom yet. “Hey, I’m all set if you wanna look at the menu!” she called out.

Hearing Tina’s voice declaring that she was done and that he could look at the menu, Jesse tightened his grip on the edge of the sink momentarily. “I’ll be out in a minute.” He called back, taking a moment to stare at his reflection, wondering just how they were going to manage this. After taking a few steadying breaths, he moved back to the bedroom and took the menu from her, debating on what he might not feel like an utter lead weight in his stomach.
