Hey, its Australia day! Aka the day a bunch of English arrived in Australia and began two centuries worth of genocide and cultural erasure.

In honour of Australia day, do you wanna help some indigenous people reclaim rightful ownership of their unceded lands?

GN: Because obviously you’re filming Good Omens at the moment - hence the the hair, and, I mean, I imagine Game of Thrones fans and Terry Pratchett fans there must be quite a bit of crossover there.

Michael: I guess there is, yeah. I mean Terry and Neil Gaiman who wrote Good Omens.

GN: Yeah.

Michael: It’s probably a bit sillier than Game of Thrones, I would imagine,

GN: Yes. 

Michael: So it’s for it’s sort of for people who like Game of Thrones but also like to be a bit silly.

GN: But they seem quite passionate those fans.

Michael: Oh, they’re very passionate,

GN: Yeah.

Michael: absolutely, there’s a lot of fan fiction going on out there which is very passionate fanfiction - now for a long time people were a bit weird about fan fiction and that people sort of looked down on fanfiction - this is when fans of a show start writing their own stories based on the characters and the stories.

GN: It goes gay so fast.

Michael: It does go gay very quickly. But it’s kind of amazing, I think it’s a fantastic thing - the fact that people sort of were a bit weird about it… I think it’s wrong - it’s such a love of the show and it shows such commitment to it, I think it’s wonderful. I mean it does involve on Good Omens me and David Tennant having sex mainly. Twilight fan fiction involved me having sex with other people, there’s a lot of that going on, yeah.
